I know, it hurts when your team loses, but you didn't exactly pick the best player. I mean, a Mormon? You'd have been better off with Santorum, at least a lot of us would have wanted to see more ....*snicker*... santorum.
There wasn't much of choice. Out of all the asses on Capitol Hill, I would have preferred Boehner. At least he's normal compared to most of the rest of them.

BTW, I don't see you Topix freaks ragging on Obama for his insistence of claiming to be a theist. Gee, what do the radicals know that the normals don't?

Everybody loses with Obama in the Oval Office.

Normal does not exist in living organisms, you mean more rational, or more like you? Most people mean more like them when they say normal, some mean more rational, but ultimately no one means normal when they call someone "normal."

As for your "everybody loses" bit, not really, insurance companies are guaranteed profits now, and the medical industry is now guaranteed profits even when they fail as well. So they won. Everyone else is pretty much where we'd be no matter who got into office, because the president doesn't actually have that much power. The congress and house make most of the decisions and without their support the president has zero power.

Bit of irony, the congress and house wanted a Democrat in presidency, so that they could point the finger at him while making all the choices we see effecting the deficit and such now. It's not planned out, it's just that they pushed to have a sure loser put up for candidacy in the Republican, they are in control right now really, and now they have their scapegoat for four more years. It's always been like this, and it will always be like this as long as people keep worrying about the president more than their local politicians.

From what I've read here, Patty is 57 or 58 years old- THAT is your MORONIC idea of an "old" lady?
And btw, Patty is NO lady- no matter her age.
But you term Patty as an "old lady" and her mother as "elderly"?
You are a MORON. And you're STILL a mess.
LOL

Sorry, but I had to laugh here.

Your avatar and United In Faith's avatar looks a lot alike - well, the colour, at least -, and I thought damn, so Yellodog hates being called old at 57, so she attacks Nano?

Yes, but not by force - by persuasive argument and example. I'd like to see people turning away from religion by choice until it disappeared. Same with smoking.
Agreed.

Religion flourishes under the gun - people find all kinds of scripture to support their 'just cause' of martyrdom.

No, we should never, ever attempt to disband or prohibit any godbelief or religion with violence. We should tolerate and lead by example. I have seen this very phenomenon turn some of my family members and friends towards secularism.
