I heard god sends people to an eternal lake of fire for comments like that.
Why? You said it. You said that porn is fun, the Bible not so much.

Did you see the contradictions in his atheist post? He asked if he sinned.
In other posts, they deny that sin is even a real concept.
Funny how they use the terms of our Christianity when it suits them in bashing Christians, but deny our terms when they are scared of our doctrine.
No agenda is more full of lies and liars than atheism.
LOL

I assure you, Skom is not BM. You and Al Garcia, perhaps are BM.
Ha, this is too funny. I love it when you all are so confused. New name?

Tit for tat.
No I didn't. I don't pray upon suggestion from unbelievers

But since you were the one who told me people told you that (even though if you go back and read you will see I was talking about what you were told was a sin) and now I have answered..I await yours.

Can I take more guesses though?

Your therapist? Your grandmother? An ass-smooch apprentice you are training?

BM is posting on another thread under his new name. It seems that he thinks he's doing very well arguing with the folks there. He's all about the trivia, you know.
Hadn't thought about it. BM seemed to be a bit more straightforward and had a temper. Maybe, after some of that theology training he was going to embark on....

What's BM's new name, and what thread? I want to check him out and maybe rattle his cage a bit.(Skombolis bores me actually.)

Tide: Definitely not BM. Read Skom's long sentence, BM didn't write like that. You could get what he was saying it by reading his sentences just once.

Skom: OK, I'm done with you for now.

Do you shoo upon suggestion from unbelievers?

I'm not sure if I would characterize BM as straightforward. He did suffer from emotional outbursts.

I can't say for certain that the poster here is BM, but it seems pretty obvious to me. I asked the guy point blank, and he didn't answer. You should be able to recognize who I'm talking about without me telling you.

Tsk Tsk

I wonder if whoever told you that you were a leader of men knew you were a liar

And I am glad you are done. If you noticed, as usual I didn't even post to you and you just jumped in to stir the pot and contribute nothing..as usual.

What's your point?
You agree you probably don't know the Bible as well and you don't believe it?
I knew that already. And if i remember your reasons for not believing it were finding out that some of the stories were metaphorical and that man didn't always live up to the the commandments he is supposed to follow.
So it wasn't some great insights into the Bible that caused your current belief or lack of belief. In all honestly, it just simply was very weak faith to begin with if it was shattered over that.
And I didn't say I know the Bible better than everybody. I said some of the unbelievers that claim that in reality do not. And when they try to use that imagined superiority in knowledge against those who do know the Bible well it often results in failure. I don't claim to be an expert on the bible. But I know it pretty well. Definitely well enough to refute pretenders.
Many if not most of the believers I have seen on this site have had similar backgrounds to me, having been raised in the religion from childhood, but having come to the realization after education, and maturing, that what they had been taught had no solid basis in fact. Sort of what happens in many areas of life, is it not, that what one believed based on early input gets altered as you learn more things. It is usually a sign of gaining wisdom that we learn from our errors and mistakes of youth and make changes in our lives as we get older to adapt to what we have learned.

Having had considerable education too helps one to process the information that others have gathered, as no one person has enough hours in a lifetime to find out everything for himself. All of the facts that have actually been discovered have disproved many of the beliefs from the Bible while no facts have been 'yet' found that have confirmed anything in the Bible as absolutely true.

Based on how we humans tend to process evidence in such things as trials, inquiries, committee decisions, and the likes, it would seem that based on what we have, concerning the Bible and God, we have nothing.

No, I didn't state that I probably don't know the Bible as well, as I probably know it as well or better than the bulk of the far rightwing believers on this site.

It is obvious to you because you see things that aren't there, like conspiracies to omit words

I know you think beating you guys in an argument is so rare that it must be same person under different names but trust me, when you eliminate the ass-kissers and hang out in an objective setting you will realize you aren't nearly as smart as you think you are.

Okay.

Why is slavery not outright condemned at every opportunity in the book supposedly authored/inspired by a moral deity?

What is the basis for declaring homosexuality a sin or immoral?(I'm asking for the reasoning, not the bare declaration)

Why is there a command to kill witches in a book authored/inspired by a moral deity? Keep in mind how the Bible defines witchcraft, and the very REAL possibility that actual witchery is imaginary.

Yeah, sometimes there's nastiness.

I have been fine, had to go to Vancouver, Canada for work. Cold, but what a gorgeous city, water, water everywhere, mountains, and far more civilized than the U.S.
