I see naked humans as beautiful. Unless they are being lewd - mind you, my interpretation of their behavior is cultural, as is their presentation of behavior. An objective other might still see their body as beautiful.<quoted text>
Yeah. I agree, and you know when their holy book within a few pages states the two central characters and *the first two humans* were - "ashamed of their nakedness and sought to cover themselves" - that mentality can be changed in all current or former members.
Even though it can be changed in some. The naked human adult body is not exclusively attractive when only seen or thought of as a sexual object(as in your girlfriend, wife etc...), or, for some out there, isn't repulsive as a sexual object.
What I'm trying to say is a naked human adult body isn't only a sexual object, but within the religious framework it is often thought of as only that, no matter what the age.
That is disturbing to think of, that those of religion at times ONLY see a naked body as ONLY a sexual object, don't you think?
What I find so compelling is the muscle structure, the body morphology. I find it most compelling among athletes, who have trained their responses to liquid motion.
Getting back to what you are writing, I think you're right. Bodies are sexualized - shamed - by religion. That's immoral, wrong. The indecency is the religion projecting its disturbed body image onto innocent children. What is wrong with the religious that they so hate their appearance???
