I never stated that one parent couldn't be wonderful and sufficent.
What i said was a mom and a dad was the best option.
women can be protectors to a point.
could you as a woman sucessfully fight off a preditor who's intent was to rape you or beat you?
most women can't defend themselves against a male preditor.
not because women are less or inferior, but because women are women.
So yes the man is the protector.
from the dawning of time, man has been the hunter, the protector, the provider... women have been care givers, nuturers and much more.
You see, i like the design of how God created all things.
I respect His design and the purpose of it all.
you blaspheme your god

he gave you round heels

and you do not use them

I'm sure you did.....

Well wouldn't an atheist parent teach their kids that hell is a mythical place and there's nothing to fear or worry about?
The atheist parent would teach their kids that the Sunday school teacher is a "creatard" and "prove" them wrong. In essence, indoctrinating the kids into atheism. Just as scar has done.
I teach my children that christians are immoral persons, who will lie and cheat them as soon as they discover that there is no shared (religious) belief.

I teach that religion has been the cause of most wars, that people use religion to justify violence against outsiders.

I let them make up their own minds what to belief with respect to superstition.

If you're willing to consider anything (as an atheist), then consider that God IS real. Consider the possibility that He is beyond current scientific understanding & scrutiny.
I will consider the evidence.

Dave and Buck have a Dumb and Dumber type of relationship.

Sure but I don't think you understand. We don't know if matter was "created" at or before t=0 or if it was simply placed into motion, IOW we don't know if there was a such thing as 'time' at t=0 or prior. That's why we cannot get a handle on it. That's why we cannot even guess; well we can guess but we have no way of verifying the likelihood of any guess, therefore you'll have to accept that 'Goddidit' is as good as any guess and better than guessing that unicorns had something to do with it.

Take a look at your post. "That's how we know what happened"? We DON'T know what happened. "We are creating the conditions of the EARLY universe"; notice emphasis on 'early'; that means AFTER t = 0. So one thing is for sure and that is we do not know what the reality of t = 0 or t < 0 could have been.
