oh, I read your comment wrong, I am a believer in Faith.
I agree, the Universe is enormous and to assume we are the only life out there, is ridiculous.
See, my argument with atheists is, that they place everything within the parameter of human beings, and I am sorry, human beings are flawed, most consider only their own selfish interests. To say that ours is the highest intelligence out there... Yikes. I think there is a higher intelligence, thank goodness.
Atheists don't claim that we have the highest intelligence in the universe; actually we don't claim much of anything. The only sure similarity between two atheists is their lack of belief.

Psalm 14:1-3 The fool says in his heart, "There is no God."

Numbers 6:24

"May the Lord bless you and keep you: May the Lord make His face shine upon you, and be gracious unto you: May the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace."

1. Jesus claimed to be God - John 8:24; 8:56-59 (see Exodus 3:14); John 10:30-33
2. Jesus is called God - John 1:1,14; 20:28; Col. 2:9; Titus 2:13; Heb. 1:8
3. Jesus is the image of the invisible God - Heb. 1:3
4. Jesus abides forever - Heb. 7:24
5. Jesus created all things - John 1:1-3; Col. 1:15-17
6. Jesus is before all things - John 1:1-3; Col. 1:17;
7. Jesus is eternal - John 1:1,14; 8:58; Micah 5:1-2

This is my verse, not in the bible.

God is real, and HE loves every one of you more than you could ever imagine. He created the universe.

Beautiful verse. How did you ever come up with such an original arrangement of words?

God's in our heart but people find it everywhere. When people can see god's in others then all problems will be gone automatically.

You woke up this morning! You are walking, talking, breathing, seeing, eating and are simply able. The sky has not fallen on you and you are not thirsty, at least not for water. Open your eyes and look around you, you had to have come from some place and so did everything else in the world. Something is causing you to breath this free air, something created everything around you and hopefully you'll be able to go back where you came from before your mother bore you. Something had to have placed you in her womb, you certainly didn't grow there. Is that enough for you?
I pray that the soul and the spirit that dwell inside of your body and that will live way after your body has failed you, will visit God when he is ready for you to and not sooner. Everyone must die, and you will be where ever you go longer than you are here. Peace be with you.
may you soon receive treatment for your delusions

I think Nature here on Earth, is far too wonderfully complex and beautiful, intricate, to not have some sort of far-superior intelligence involved in its creation.
I am taking off for the night, I will talk more with you again.
your lack of education does not create realities.

your fears and hopes do not create gods.

That's very poetical, but it would be more accurate to say that faith is taking the first step on a staircase that might not be there.
Then again, it "might" be there too!:)

When did evolution become a fact and the theory confirmed? Can you link proof of this for me to check out?
No. You'd have to examine the physical evidence yourself after being trained in the field for that. But you can find evidence of it yourself on the Internet. But I can show you others making the same statement, such as this from the National Academy of Sciences:

"The discovery and understanding of the processes of evolution represent one of the most powerful achievements in the history of science. Evolution successfully explains the diversity of life on Earth and has been confirmed repeatedly through observation and experiment in a broad
spectrum of scientific disciplines. Evolutionary science provides the foundation for modern biology.

"It has opened the door to entirely new types of medical, agricultural, and environmental research, and has led to the development of technologies that can help prevent and combat disease. Regrettably, effective science education in our schools is being undermined by efforts to introduce non-scientific concepts
about evolution into science classrooms."

As for no rational reason to believe, how is your belief intelligent life exists elsewhere any different?
My belief is evidence based.

We know that life evolves wherever it can on earth, so we expect the same on any planet or moon where it can. The numbers suggest that that should happen repeatedly throughout the universe.

There is no evidence for any gods. That makes the claim extraordinary.

<quoted text>How ironic would it be if the ingtelliegent alient life you believe probably exists that is more intellient than man actually turned out to be the entity I know as God?

And there is no way you can conclusively rule that out.
No, I cannot. But I don't see that as meaningful. From a lower primate's perspective, man is that more intelligent life. If they later develop language and a god urge, and want to think of us as their gods, that's irrelevant to any discussion of supernatural creator gods.

Daily Horoscope for May 21

Gemini

A little give and take goes a long way, so try to be flexible and malleable when dealing with others. It will also pay to ask people what they think rather than to make sweeping assumptions on their behalf, because you could be in for a surprise. A child may have some interesting information for you, or they could make a statement that really sets you thinking.
