RR...I'm arguing with you. You are a believer. Who else am I supposed to get information about RR's deity from? This is how you explained hell - this was your reason. Now you want me to ignore what you wrote and choose some other source? Are you telling me right now that you're a bad source of information for RR's god?

So then any "conclusion" you come up with with have to match your biased opinions.
THAT'S where scientists screw up.
You haven't spoken to any of my points save this one.

Ok, to investigate something that is entirely nonmeasurable, including both fictional characters, creatures and deities, we have to use other sources, like how people work. All our scientific theories, etc.

I changed my wording. It just so happens that to investigate both your God, Yahweh, and any other god, say Zeus, we use the same means - investigate humans.

My previous few points remains.

(fixed for you; now try a real argument)

It's a weak rebuttal. Clearly you aren't quite grasping 1) the nature of evidence here and 2) how to investigate the non-measurable.

First, the argument I presented you has to do with demonstrating how humans work, how humans conceive of spirituality through religion, and the "purpose" of spirituality.

Second, ideas that cannot be tested, like unicorns and deities, cannot be directly investigated. Your claim above is similar to the Creationist "you haven't proved me wrong!" While we cannot investigate "God" directly, we can investigate people who believe in "God" and other kinds of religions.

We can demonstrate:

1. the neurological areas of the brain that govern belief
2. what happens to them when you stimulate them (spiritual experiences)
3. how people in other cultures have different spiritual experiences and different religions
4. the number of deities, their mutual incompatibility
5. what effect religion has, socially - what "purpose" religion serves
6. the power of any given religion's claims - can any of these miracles happen? have they ever been observed? can prayer work? does the religion make accurate truth claims?

And, based on the answers, we can judge whether your claims about the existence of your deity.

I'm sorry if you're unhappy with that. But, hey, you'll always have the gaps of our ignorance where you can stick your deities.

I never have said that God refutes science, have I?
Science is outside of God & God is outside of science.
Not everything is measurable & repeatable & verifiable...
Not everything can be explained by science.
But if it cannot be observed , studied, measured , we must treat it as it does not exist.
Because you cant weigh an measure a invisible pink unicorn.
But you can say there is one.
To rant there is an invisible skydaddy is borderline insanity.

It doesn't have to be a destructive insanity, but we all see how it does become one in reality.

Allah Akbar!

I wonder how much Orangelion and RR know they're being pwned?

Anyways, you said you don't know how to sin?

I might be able to help you with that :)

No. It's a sure sign that you're not funny when you have to include a cue for others to laugh, like "lol" and "lmao."

Since you made a stupid joke, and since you had to tell us that it was funny, you basically just made yourself look bad.

I'll continue to give you advice on comedy if you like.

I didn't say that God is selfish.
In regards to the creation of Hell & God punishing people for not obeying Him - I said "in that sense, God is selfish".
In Genesis, God used the tree of knowledge to help the learning process begin.
What's the difference between selfishly created hell and not selfishly creating hell?

Genesis quite clearly describes Satan teaching people how to think for themselves and God getting all upset about that.

It doesn't sound stupid to me. It sounds quite comical. The book means being someone smart and an adult, you pretend to have that book. When you haven't actually been the person reading the pages(Reading pages means the one who actually has the knowledge and contents of a smart person). And we normally laugh when we think of silly things. Like a man saying, I am smart because I have read a really good book, well, why not actually read it instead moron? I think that is fairly comical. I didn't find anything that RT said particulary funny anyway, beuty is in the eye of the beholder.

You people employ the "studied, measured & observed" tactic only when it suits your argument.
Y'all completely believe in things like evolution, dark matter & BBT even though they can't be "studied, measured or observed".
Why is that?

Plenty, we all feel malicous desires, we all but ourselfs first. We still like to hurt and be nasty to people, compare yourself to Christ.
