True Truth wrote: <quoted text> It depends. Hollywood benefits from free access to military gear, tanks, jets and other equipment from the Pentagon, in exchange for the Pentagon's right to supervise and assert editing in order to suite the image of the military. In order to uphold the image of the military. Movie producers have a choice. Include the Pentagon and benefit from all the cheap/free access to military vehicles and gear and sacrifice their independence, or exclude the Pentagon and maintain independence while sacrificing loads of cash in order to get military equipment from elsewhere. Black Hawk Dawn rented helicopters from the Pentagon, in exchange for portraying U.S. soldiers as noble and sophisticated. The same with Hurt Locker, We were Soldiers, and Top Gun. It is even alleged that in some places the military had recruitment booths outside the movies during the release of Top Gun. Good or bad?

No- I do NOT know for a fact there is a god and either do you. 2. You keep proving that you know nothing- that you don't even know the difference between a fact and a belief. 5. My above points ARE proof- as well as your own comments- that you are pathetically stupid to the utmost nth degree. 6. And your comments also prove that you are bitter, angry and a sniveling little coward who doesn't know that life is supposed to be lived joyously which means that you and your life are a pathetic waste. It surely has to suck to be you.

Lucky he's dead, he wouldn't like the narrow minded path we just keep on following , no ifs no buts, just don't question anything, better still don't think , that's how this world is set up. Those in power have power because of control, mind control.

Sounds good to me. There's a museum nearby that houses a 4 foot solid gold beer drinking straw that was used by the gods over 5,000 years ago. Perhaps I can convince the curator to lend us this artifact so we can all indulge. If beer isn't your preference then tea-cooler will do just fine...lol Can we all get a sneak-preview at ACT II?

No, booots. It's none of those. God touched me & I KNOW it. I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that HE is real. That will never waiver. I know it's hard for some people to understand, but that doesn't change the fact that I believe He's real. I know it.

One would have to wonder though why a god with that much power would need a rest. The "six" days were't 24-hour periods of time. As a matter of fact, God's still on the 7th day right now. boooots wrote: <quoted text> That is rather amusing as God has not been recorded as having been heard from, even if the original recordings were true, since the time of Muhammad. How would a person in 2012 be able to make a statement that God is constant? God, if it existed, might have changed many times over in 1400 years. Surely a God with all the supernatural powers that believers attribute to it, would also be capable of changing unlimited number of times. Can you give me a logical rational reason why believers make statements about the character of God, as if they have daily conversations with Him in which he apprises them of all his actions and thoughts? Is it that believers just have a more vivid imagination than realists, or is it some sort of a mental anomaly? Yellodog, for example, and I use her as an example, because she has posted more posts, and I have read more of her posts than any other poster on here, almost daily tells us what God thinks, and what God does, and I am certain she didn't get that either from God or from the Bible, so she must have made it up. That is not a question that I am really truly wanting a detailed reply to, because I know the comment is bogus anyway, but I see it is a common failing of fundamentalists. If it were true, it would tend to place believers on a higher more intelligent plain than God, to not only believe his Word, but to also know his every thought, and every motive for things not explained in His Word. I wasn't talking about the character of God. When I said that God is constant, I meant that the teachings of the Bible, ie: God, is constant. Whereas science is constantly changing it's mind AND it's "knowledge".
