Okay "Busy" you can pay the taxes for those of us who don't want to continue supporting those who abuse the system. Problem solved. Now peel on out of here.

It's not about helping the man out if he can't do it, it's about taking half of the burden to pay the bills, always. Wouldn't that mean then that fathers take half the responsibility/burden of caring for the children- always? Right!

For those of you who have problems with mamma32, I found this from her on another thread, under Human Sexuality, in the thread "what is your sexual fantasy?"
"my fantasy is to be blindfolded, completely naked with a can of whipped cream sprayed on me and a bowl of cherries eaten off of me by another female while my man watches then we spray the whipped cream on him and lick it off very slowly, inch by inch, then we make love while we still have on the whipped cream and don't forget the bananas to tease him with."
Gee, I wonder if she buys all these items with her food stamp card? Nice to know our tax money is going to help peoples sex lives.

I believe I replied to the comment she left for me. Yeah I am the most horrable human being every. I never asked her to defend herself. If it is a free country, why am I not aloud to speak my mind???? Hypocrites of the earth.

Whats your sick obsession with fruit and vegtables? I don't hate people who win the lottery.(except for the child molester who one last year). I hate the people who win the lotto and then complain about having to drive to Tallahasse to pick it up. You know the lazy bumbs.

I am having a tough time here...there are at least three conflicting reactions: 1. Outrage in sympathy with Orthie. 2. Hysterical laughter...why would anyone find a fruit-salad-free-for-all remotely stimulating? 3. Is it ethical to "out" people from other, entirely unrelated threads?

Here is a description of who is on assistance minus racial statistics: *Single/divorced/never-married mother with kids. Early/teen first pregnancy. *Smoker. *Un-or-Underemployed. *Not graduated from HS. or HS only, but limited literacy. *Obese *Heavy religion. *Low-achieving children. *Obese children. *Children frequently absent from school. *Multiple fathers of children. *History of drug abuse/alcoholism/petty crime such as shoplifting. *(This is an oddity) Unusually large number of pets. Disability is another whole can of worms. There are many people on assistance who flog social workers for the disability designation, and many who adopt disabled children or do their utmost to have their kids designated as disabled in some way to get more government money. Makes people who are truly disabled want to scream.

my opinion wrote: <quoted text> I wrote my state representitive about drug testing welfare people. He actually wrote back and said he was against it because it would cost too much. It would cost more short term, but would save alot in the long run. Besides, they'd get to hopefully put an end to the addiction cycle along with the welfare cycle and save a few kids along the way. But, he's not interested in that. Are they ever interested in anything that might help and be good for most of the people, hell no! Maybe if they stuck less funds into the illegal aliens programs, they could stick more money into programs that would actually be good for communities as whole. Silly me though, that would make sense.

Who in the hell do you think you are to assume people who may smoke/ have overweight kids and so on get food stamps .You are one of those people who judge the book by the cover .And did you ever think people may want to adopt disable kid because they may have a heart and want the child to know love .People like you make me sick.

I wondered that myself - but since she is using the same name, on the same website, I figured it was ethical. I certainly don't mind if others look at the stuff I posted on other threads, because I have nothing to hide.

There are many who want one parent to stay home with their children. They only do so if they can make it work financially though.

Why don't you take in a family that is "less fortunate" as you and support them then? Or.... do you just want to do so with other people's money? that's true compassion, isn't it?

How about regular drug testing for recipients of public assitance?..... The people who work to support them have to comply with drug testing at a lot of their places of employment, so why shouldn't they?..... Yes, I understand not everyone on public assistance is using illegal drugs, but I know many ARE..... Think of the money this country would save in not having to pay them for doing nothing.

Hello People. I live with my daughter who has 3 kids. She has to work at night but at the moment is laid off. We draw foodstamps and buy what is good for us plus junk because children should eat what they need but also need junk food every now and then for fun as a treat. I live with her and care for the kids because it would cost her 300 a week for day care and she barely brings home 250 a week.check.

Also you can't hardly get help with daycare because the waiting list is so long.
