We the people must stand up for ourselves. As you plant you gardens this year make room for some hops, and tobacco plants.

Tobacco can be stored in a freezer for up to 1 year. You grow it hang it upside down to dry it, and than tear it up, or shred it.

There are all kinds of recipies on the internet for homemade brew. Get together with your friends and make several different batches till you find one you can all live with. Make it by the barrell just like in the old days. THERE IS ONLY TAX IF YOU SELL IT.

Enjoy your new neighborhood garage bars. Everybody donates his own brew to the bar. Have fun & good luck!

I am trying to get some tobacco started in peat pots but they are only about 3/8" tall after three weeks.

I don't drink but when I did I made beer.It was easy to make good beer.I read a story once about a guy who started a microbrewery using food stamps to buy hops and malt.

Yeah. Obama is such a liar. I thought he had money from the "wealthy" to pay for the medical but no... he has to tax the cig. smokers. I thought there wasn't suppose to be any new taxes... that's what he said. It's common knowledge that smokers are mostly middle and lower class... yet here he is raising their taxes.

It is not just the lower and middle classes getting hit by the out of control federal tobacco taxes.

In Tampa cigars are big business. Tampa has a rich history of cigar makers and cigars are a 2 billion dollars a year business. The federal tax increased taxes on large cigars from 5 cents to 40 cents on each cigar. One cigar maker says that he used to pay $1000 in taxes for importing 20,000 cigars from his suppliers in Central America the federal tax increase now means he will have to pay $8000. This federal tax increase is at a time when the recession has knocked out %75 of his business to begin with. These taxes are bad for business in the city of Tampa. Obama should be ashamed of his communist self.

The best way to beat alcohol and Cigaraette tax is to not drink or smoke. This way there are two taxes you don't have to worry about.
