2 Peter 9

9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

And also before Christ an antichrist must come first

The situation could end up like the 30 years war, except between Islamic sects and in the Middle East (maybe with some terrorist payback to the US and EU) OR even worse other world powers can intervene and maybe blunder into something like WWI. I don't see a path to peace. Only time will tell. If you are not anxious you are a fool.

Freedom?
How can you suggest freedom when freedom is not even an alternative?
You may not like the elected Government, but how is killing an argument for freedom?
No. You are so very wrong.
Freedom is about choice and, when you choose wrong, the hope that sometime in the future you get to correct that wrong. How does execution support freedom?

You know nothing of freedom. You support bullies who demand slavery of all to their whims.

Everyone has entitlement and full right to believe in whatever belief. What matter is that we are all one human-being family on this earth. Our duties is to comfort each another with the best of what we can do. To help the people in needy and to protect the people who need protection and to support the people who stage revolution for freedom. After all, we make prayers of supplication to Allah almighty to guide all of the people to the faith on Him alone.

Peace and Love for all.

Abu, like most political, revolutions, coups, and even elections, the ISIL is not fighting for freedom, they are fighting to get power and all the perks that go with it and the Iraqi government will fight to keep power. Others that think the can get something from one or the other will take sides. Nothing new or unusual, just a brutal us good them bad conflict.

And what's the difference between a Sunni and a Shiite?

Their so-called holy book is simply filled with ideas of a madman and those mostly borrowed from other religions.

ISIS or whatever pseudo Egyptian deity name they take next... is merely an offshoot of the Pakistani arab drug gangs that used to be called the taleban before al Quaeda came along. Simple fact is that despite having modern day drug gang business models & logistics (& financial support), they remain camel chasing loonies whom have absolutely no idea of how to govern an oasis they take over in a raid.

The end result is devastation, lots of carcasses, & a poisoned well.

The desert is full of examples of exactly this thing happening in the past. Most of them are covered in sand and nobody lives in those oases any more.

In the past the traditional arabs reserved the death penalty for camel chasers. Now there has been an upgrade (mers virus) affecting camel chasers of ALL types. The attempt by the camel chasers to avoid death by hiding behind religion may very soon precipitate a world war versus all of the so called followers of Allah.

Personally I would much rather drop a 1.3km asteroid on the place & drive the lot of them into extinction. the hard part is the fact that it may end up landing on Pakistan instead. Bit of Irony there as Pakistan has finally figured out what the camel chasers actually are and has realised that it has already lost 8/10 of the population to them.

Now the seriously funny irony. The UK is now about to team up with the Iranians Vs. ISIS in Iraq. This, the country that invented theocratic lunacy of such idiotic fervour that they even now resemble national socialists, and would shoot their own people to ensure continued theocratic idiocy. For the record the UK embassy in Iran was looted after the last outbreak.

I may need a bigger asteroid to deal with the outcome of that one.

As far as it goes now: Iraq has now ceased to exist as a state & is now in the 3 pieces the USA should have left it following their hostile takeover during Gulf war III.

In the absence of an asteroid impact on the place a world war centred on the place is a certainty. With the Geneva convention in place the west will LOSE that world war.

Have a nice day: Ag

Serbia in football was third in the world cup while Serbia's U19 team was a Europian champion 2013. Red Star Beograd was Europian and World Champion once.

In basketball, Serbs were Europian and World Champions many times, beating even USA's Dream Team

You sir may have a point there, but is it not surprising that before the mighty west with the USA at its helm attacked, Iraq, attacked Libya and instigated the war against Syria, these incidents where very rare, also beggars belief that the mighty USA with all its spy's/intelligence agency's did not see this coming..

You are correct. Initially, after WWI, the Brits and French divided up the the old Ottoman empire between Turkey and Saudi Arabia and kept the peace, When they backed away, the Asads and Sadam eventually took over imposed their tyrany. When the US invaded the and conquered all of Iraq the pandoras box of sectarian and political divisions was opened. The US presence kept them down with the lives of US soldiers and borrowed money (actually created by the fed). The US desire to keep Iraq as a country (it could have been broke up into Kurdish, Sunni and Shite entities) made an uncivil war inevitable. Bush II agreed to withdraw all US troops by Dec. 2011 (the Iraqi Shite government forced him) and Obama obliged. Knowledgeable people in the US government and some soldiers knew that sooner or later something like the present would happen. The policy makers, in both the Bush and Obama administration did not , could not or would not stop this mess. Short of breaking up the country I don't believe they had any realistic option.
The is more than enough blame, both for those who live in the Middle East and the 'West'(mostly the USA). There is, sadly, no quick and painless way out of the situation.
