I worked for McFarland for a couple of years and he is an evil man. I wish there was a better (softer) way of putting it, but that is the truth. He is a skilled manipulator. Sexual misconduct is just one of the legal and illegal activities I witnessed while employed at his church. I saw so many families and individuals destroyed by him.

I'm a strong individual and what you have to understand (that can not be comprehended until you are in the situation) is the element of fear. Church is a family and Lee had the power to excommunicate you from that family in the blink of an eye. He did that on a regular basis to church members and staff. I can also say that his behavior was widely know by all those that were named in the lawsuit... including the AOG. As long as he had the large congregation numbers, they left him a lone.

Some of the claims seem salacious and over the top, but if McFarland is found guilty, they deserve every penny.

Also, after reading all the comments here I think "Ugh" is Dale "Lee" Mcfarland. He's a megalomaniac and I'm sure he Googles himself on a regular basis.

Hey I ran across this story in a thing called "the Bible."

Any of you guys every thumbed through it?

It has some interesting stuff in it.

Thought you might be interested in this little gem. It seems this guy Jesus was dealing with none other than...bum bum bum...adultery.

It's weird. His reaction is nothing like the reactions I am reading on this thread. But what do I know. One of you guys needs to set Jesus straight. Apparently he could learn a thing or two from you guys.

Jesus went to the Mount of Olives. But early in the morning he went back to the Temple, and all the people came to him, and he sat and taught them. The teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought a woman who had been caught in adultery. They forced her to stand before the people. They said to Jesus,“Teacher, this woman was caught having sexual relations with a man who is not her husband. The law of Moses commands that we stone to death every woman who does this. What do you say we should do?” They were asking this to trick Jesus so that they could have some charge against him.

But Jesus bent over and started writing on the ground with his finger. When they continued to ask Jesus their question, he raised up and said,“Anyone here who has never sinned can throw the first stone at her.” Then Jesus bent over again and wrote on the ground.

Those who heard Jesus began to leave one by one, first the older men and then the others. Jesus was left there alone with the woman standing before him. 10 Jesus raised up again and asked her,“Woman, where are they? Has no one judged you guilty?”

She answered,“No one, sir.”

Then Jesus said,“I also don’t judge you guilty. You may go now, but don’t sin anymore.”

Keep the sermon to yourself.
There comes a point when a man has done so much wrong, he becomes Judas Iscariot. He betrays his friends, family and followers. I don't care that McFarland cheated on his wife... she's known for years he was a cheat. I care about the countless number of families he decimated. Good people that were bullied by a "Godly" man.
I am no long angry with Lee, but thanks to him, I did loose may faith in Jesus and the Church. So quoting the bible to me is pointless. There is no excuse or bible passage that can fix those indiscretions. Heck, I would subtle for an apology and acknowledgement that his behavior (not the adultery) was wrong. A sincere one; not a well crafted, teary, oops I messed up one. He knows what he did and will never own it.
The reason everyone is saying the same thing in these posts... because it is true. I sorry, if you are having trouble seeing that.

Dear Chris, while you’re cherry picking bible stories how about the one about the 10 commandments. How many of these does your husband regularly disregard? No one was suggesting stoning your husband Pastor Lee to death; also, please have some level of reverence when using he Lords name. You’re very sarcastic, disrespectful and quite the patsy.

What does the bible say? This woman is as much to blame for any of this. What a tragedy. God will judge accordingly.9091

You know Bugsy... maybe she is... but I have no doubt that McFarland pursued her. The greater evil here is that McFarland choose to be the mouth piece for God here on Earth. He was not subtly seduced by this woman, he went after her.
I know God views evil the same across the board, but we humans do not. Manslaughter is not the same as murder and I view what McFarland did as premeditated, First degree murder.
I just can't believe the AOG is letting him preach in California right now. It boggles the mind.

A goof... Try a lier.
In fact, he is still lying from the pulpit (link below). Telling the California congregation that he, "turned himself in...". He got CAUGHT and then suspended! He didn't have "a" moral failure, he had multiple moral failures. The AOG investigation into his actions found several women and many offenses. That's when they removed him from Radiant.
In some of the other sermons he talks about love and forgiveness; he discusses passing judgement and helping the wounded; and in the short time I knew him... I saw none of attributes within him.
I have to admit, he is good on stage, Dale can speak. I have never met a person that can white wash better than Pastor Lee. A master of spin. He should run for office. I'm not joking... he could win. Men drunk on power, sexting women and full of B.S.- he'd fit right in.
Here is the video - go 23 minutes in:
