I bought a puppy who was very scared of men at first, noises nothing like I had ever seen . I found it odd that you never see them right when they are born and each weeks they grow. Also how do you get a white dog from a black poodle thought that was pretty impossible and never saw pictures of parents. They also say how the dog is their child's shadow almost on every puppy's paragraph. She is a great dog but it took a while for her to feel totally secure.

I adopted my Cavapoo from Legacy Farms in May 2011 and she is the best dog ever! Kate was absolutely wonderful with every question that I had. I picked her up at the airport and she was clean, in a nice crate and had baby wipes with her. I am very happy with this breeder and will purchase another puppy in the near future from Kate & Josh Anyone wanting to feel more comfortable with adopting their puppy feel free to e-mail me @ SCovino@aol.com

That is a huge red flag. wow dude. give it up. how much more evidence do you need? if they were a puppy mill why would they SPEND MONEY to fix a hernia on a dog AND get him neutered at the same time? DO YOU REALIZE HOW EXPENSIVE THAT IS? why would they do that if they were a puppy mill? why would they even tell us about it? not to mention that our dog is extremely outgoing and just happy all the time. not really what one would picture coming from horrible conditions as you might have us believe. i don't know what you're deal is, but you need to give it a rest. not EVERY place is a mill. Unfortunately you HAVEN'T seen their place, on top of that, you're just some dude, you don't have ANY authority to say what you're saying WHAT SO EVER. who gave YOU the right to deem what is a puppy mill and what isn't? my suggestion is shut your mouth and let the authorities handle what you CLEARLY can't.

Banpuppymills wrote: Then why do they not let you visit their facility? Come on people. Wake up. That is a huge red flag. You know I spent the last fifteen minutes reading your posts "banpuppymills" and I have to just call it like it is. You my friend are an idiot. Its been said that its one thing to be presumed an idiot, but another to open your mouth (blog in your case) and remove all doubt. I just purchased my puppy we named wiggles from Josh and Katie and there presentation of the puppy was exactly what I recieved. To answer your question about visiting there facility... if you are really a dog person then you know the dangers of having someone come to your home or "facility" as you call it and having them carry highly infectious diseases like parvo into your kennel. Many animal facilitys dont allow outside visits for the same reasons. When my son was born we were not allowed into the NICU unless we scrubbed every inch of our arms and hands and wore protective clothing. Your out right attack on this young couple is rediculous. How about we talk about the HSUS and there misuse of funds. Like the millions that poured into there pockets when the Michael vick dog scandel hit.... it was reported that not one pennie of that money was used to feed, house or take care of even one dog.... I appears to me that a quote from my grandmother fits best here... your letting your alligator mouth overload your hummingbird butt. Do us all a favor, get a different hobbie

I live in wentzville, closer to them than 30 min and they met me with my puppy. There address is listed with the BBB because there BBB members. Craiglist sellers are not listed with the BBB and usually dont invite you to there home but millions purhase from there every day.... Red flag? I think not.

A red flag should be placed on @banpuppymills! I had no problem visiting the facility and it is impeccable! I have one of their so called "puppy mill dogs"(according to you) who is the sweetest, happiest, loving & smartest dogs. He also came to me in great health he too was checked by a veterinarian. People who are breeding dogs are not necessarily puppy mills. Get your facts straight first before pointing your finger. You are a perfect example as to why the majority of society doesn't pay attention to you or your "causes".

I got my Cavapoo Zoe from Josh and Kate 2 years ago and they were wonderful. Zoe has the best personality - never barks - great with both kids and adults. She is just the best dog and I wouldn't even consider getting another puppy from anyone but Legacy Farms Kennel. Thank you Josh and Katie!!!!

Just for the record, they are listed with bbb but NOT bbb accredited. "... they are bbb accredited I even double checked to make sure they also don't fit the criteria for a puppy mill"

MARY ANN wrote: DID YOU SEE WHERE THE PUPPIES CAME FROM??? IF SO I WOULD LIKE TO SEE A PICTURE OF THE LEGACY FARM.. I LOOKED UP THE SITE BEFORE BUYING THE PUPPIES AND IF IT WAS A PUPPY MILL THEN WHY WASNT IT LISTED IN THE LISTS IN MISSOURI... THERE WERE QUITE OF FEW OF THEM BUT I DID NOT SEE THIS ONE LISTED... If you got a healthy puppy as other have said they did then there should be no beef. You should stick your nose somewhere else.Atleast they are selling healthy pups.
