What is your secret Mr. President? How are you benefiting by continuing your stubborn attitude? Your hands must be in some deep pockets as you ignore the major character assassinations aimed right now. Remember, you don't own this country, your nothing but a servant, who refuses to serve. How can you look at yourself in the mirror, is your conscious paralyzed?

Guess what? Bush will accept whatever the American people say he will. In fact, impeach him and his cronies no.

Impeachment is still an option, the grounds are lives being lost in a weapons of mass destruction scam, why not be truthful and say the late Saddams oil rich country could and or were suppling money/arms/training to terreroist

Bush's own former political guru has abandoned him, in disgust over the president's incompetence and his attitude of "my way or the highway."

Bush betrayed America.

This is news? Pres. Bush has been saying since before the elections that withdrawal timetables are not negotiable - what a surprise that he hasn't changed his mind!

Bush said: "I'm disappointed that the Democratic leadership has chosen this course."

American people have been saying.. we are disappointed that our Commander in Chief has wrongly led the nation into a wrong war. He since then has shamefully Concealed himself behind "our troops"

Supporting our troops means to pull them out of a civil war.

VETO OF THIS BILL WILL BE A GOOD THING. WE MUST TURN OVER IRAQ TO IRAQ AS THEY GET THE TROOPS OUT THERE TO DO THE JOB. THAT WILL BE THE TIME TO START COMING HOME. THEY THE TRASH IN THE SENATE AND GONGRESS SAY THE WAR IS DOING NOTHING. NO PROGRESS AT ALL. WELL THAT TELLS YOU THAT NO LERDERSHIP IS PRESENT IN THE SENATE OR CONGRESS, AND WE NEED TO REMOVE ALL OF THEM FROM OFFICE,AND SEE IF WE CAN GET SOME GROWN UPS IN THERE. AT THE END OF THE INVASION OF IRAQ IRAQ HAD NOTHING. NOW THEY HAVE A GOVERNMENT. YES IT IS NOT WORKING TO GOOD BUT IT IS YOUNG. THE AMERICAN GOVERMENT HAS BEEN AROUND FOR AGES AND IT IS TOTALLY WORTHLESS. THEN THEY NOW HAVE A GROWING MILITARY FORCE THAT IS STEPPING OUT IN FRONT OF OUR TROOPS IN THE WAR. SO THEY ARE FIGHTING FOR THIER COUNTRY WITH THERE LEADERS IN GOVERNMENT BACKING THEM. OUR LEADERS ARE DOING EVERYTHING POSSIBLE TO DISCREDIT OUR MILITARY AND OUR COUNTRY. THEY HAVE MADE A POLICE FORCE ALSO DURING THIS TIME AND ALL THE TIME ALL OF THESES PEOPLE ARE FACING DEATH EVERY DAY. DURING ALL OF THIS THEY ARE ALSO BUILDING AN ECONOMY, AND OUR SIMPLE MINDED TRASH IS DISTROYING OUR ECONOMY. SO I WOULD SAY THEY ARE MOVING ALONG PRETTY GOOD TO HAVE SO MUCH GOING ON IN A FEW YEARS FROM AN ABSLUTE NOTHING. SO HOW IS PROGRESS NOT HAPPENING. AS WELL AS UNDER MINING OUR TROOPS WITH THIS COMUNIST ACTIONS BY CONGRESS AND THE SENATE THEY ALSO ARE TRYING TO SLIDE A MINIMUM WAGE INCREASE. THIS WILL NOT ONLY TAKE MONEY OUT OF YOUR POCKET BUT WILL INCREASE EVERYTHING ON THE MARKET. SO IF THE MANUFACTURE HAS TO PAY MORE FOR THE HELP HE IS GOING TO REDUCE THE AMOUNT OF JOBS HE HAS OPEN AND HE IS GOING TO RAISE HIS PRICE.HIS INCREASE HAS TO BE MORE THEN THE RAISE BECAUSE HE ALSO HAS TO MACH YOUR INCREASED TAXES THAT THE GOVERNMENT IS GOING TO TAKE. THEN IT IS GOING TO MAKE IT HARDER FOR OUR COMPANIES TO DO TRADE AROUND THE WORLD, BECAUSE THE STUIPED PEOPLKE IN CONGRESS AND SENATE HAVE ALREADY MADE A FREE TERADE BILL THAT MAKE IT IMPOSSIBLE FOR OUR COMPANIES TO DEAL. THAT IS CALLED TRADE DEFICET. THE LARGER IT IS THE LESS OUR DOLLAR IS WORTH. SO PURCHASING MORE FORIGAN PRODUCTS THEN AMERICAN REDUCES WHAT THE AMERICAN DOLLAR IS WORTH SO HOW CAN THIS BE GOOD.

I say give it until Fall of this year and if there is no dramatic change with security and sectarian violence, then start pulling the troops out. That is enough rope for Bush. If he is still opposed to a pull out, then something really must to be done.

THE COMMENTS HERE ARE TOTALLY AGAINEST THE PRESADENT. BUT THEY ARE COMPLETELY STUIPED REMARKS. THERE IS A LOT OF PEOPLE THAT ARE KILLING OVER THERE NOW THAT WANT TO DO THAT SAME THING HERE. AND IF WE DON'T GO OUT AND STOP THEM THEN THEY WILL BE DOING THAT HERE. WE HAVE HAD SOME UNRELATED KILLINGS HERE IN OUR SCHOOLS AND WE STOP FUNCHING. THINK ABOUT THAT BEING AN EVERY DAY THING HE AFTER WE COME OUT OF IRAQ COWARDS. HOW WOULD YOU LIKE GOING TO THE FLEA MARKET AND FACE BEING BLOWN UP. GO TO A CONCERT WONDERING ALL THE TIME IF SOMEONE IS GOING TO BLOW THE PLACE UP. NEW YORK GOT BLOWN UP AND THEY PUT THE MAJOR LEADER OF COWARDISM IN OFFICE AND BACK THAT TRASH FOR PRESADENT. I FELT SORRY FOR NEW YORK AND HELPED OUT ALL I COULD, BUT NOW IF THEY GET HIT I WILL NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT IT MUCH LESS HELP WITH IT. AS IS I WILL NOT DO BUSINESS WITH ANY COMPANY FROM NEW YORK. THE GOVERNMENT PEOPLE PUTTING ALL THIS STUFF IN YOUR HEAD ARE PERSONELLY STEALING MONEY FROM YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY AT THIS TIME AND HAVE A BILL UP THERE #219 TO STOP THAT AND THERE IS NO ACTION ON THAT OR TALK ABOUT THAT AND ALL THE TIME YOU ARE SUCKING UP EVERYTHING THEY HAVE TO SAY

Impeach the president for acting as the Commander-in Chief - what a concept!

This has been the least bloody conflict in American history both in terms of American lives and non-American - get a grip!
In 15 years of armed conflict in Vietnam ('58 -'73) there were:
58,000 American deaths (an average of 3,867 deaths per year)
350,000 American non-fatal casualties (23,333 per year)
Vietnamese deaths were in the millions.(a minimum average of 66,667 per year)
In 4 years of armed conflict in Iraq ('03 -'07) there were:
3,335 American deaths (an average of 834 deaths per year)
24,764 American non-fatal casualties (6,191 per year)
Iraqi deaths are estimated by the anti-war web site www.iraqbodycount.net at a max of 68289 (17,072 per year)
Note that I could find no indication on the iraqbodycount site that their number excludes those killed by Iraqis, Iranians, or other non-coalition forces - which could reduce that number very significantly.
While I hate that people are being killed at all - I would love to see the conflict ended - the reality is that the cost in human life has been exceptionally low, and the President has acted completely within his area of responsibility - any attempt at impeachment is pointless and doomed to failure!

I feel that we have a man who cares about what comes over here in our country. The problem with people in the world now, they are selfish and all they care is about themselves.. Our country morals have declined and I feel that we need morals back in our life and in the United States. I like what he is doing because he is commited and he won't stand down. The Americans are wishy washy and are not committed to live a moral lives in this world now.

If draft-dodgers, Bush & Cheney care so much about our troops, why have they not attended one single funeral or memorial service for any US service members that have been killed in Afghanistan or the Iraq civil war?

To the response, that we need to get rid of all in the government, again it relates to the moral of who they are, why would you want a president in there who's husband slept a rounad and lied. How is the government most to relate to that but again american society has come to the place of slime and forgotten God, who in the bible established Leadership and you all want him out of your life and in govenment. God is the answer to all the answers of life and what needs to be complished. This country is shameful right now and we all need to change.

Seems the public opinion about the war has been swayed since the invasion of Iraq. If i recall correctly polls showed over 60% polled supported an invasion of Iraq . I did not. However I did recall the Comander and chief say it would be a long unconventional war, this in the current global arena means roadside bombs, booby-trap devices, RPGs, snipers, civilian collaterol deaths, and of course US Service casualties none of wich have been drafted. I say asked the soldiers, they are the closest to the truth is what we are doing working what is our current mission is it being accomplished. And do they feel it is worth it.

What war did you serve the US in? CHICKENHAWK!
So when can US troops come home from Iraq, when they are all dead? There is over one thousand years of hatred between Sunnis and Shiites. The US cannot do anything about this hate! Our troops are now caught in the middle of a civil war. For our troops it is a no win situation!
If draft-dodgers, Bush & Cheney care so much about our troops, why have they not attended one single funeral or memorial service for any US service members that have been killed in Afghanistan or the Iraq civil war?
