This thread has morphed itself into a daily show and tell all for the mentally/emotionally handicapped.

No wonder Rotor and others have lost all interest.

Hi Ed
Yes I think you are right as you read or hear about it so often these days. I just cannot for the life of me understand why they are not taken to task about it. It seems it is just left and is just grows out of all proportion. If I did something like that I would end up with my arse in the clink and they would throw away the key. Not so for this lot. It just gets better and better for them. Oh well ......... worrying about it is not going to help.
I wanted to send you a message Dale. But ... clicking on your tag didn't help.
If you like stories, I'd be glad to send you one.
By the way, do you have Kindle?

well, well ... I am surprised you chose to show you face once more. But then it does take one to know one, does it not?
Let us forego the last conversation about incest and small animals.
You bring up mentally and emotionally handicapped individuals. Is this because you recognize yourself as one of them? It takes one to know one, correct?

glad you agree.I do hope we can make some progress here, as it is an open forum, do not be ashamed of your feelings. We care, really and we're here to help.
Now then, have you any idea of when your deficiencies became obvious? Was there some time in your childhood where they stood out? Made you so different from others?

Really now. What woman was it? Mother or sister?

Don'y cry, Harrison. It'll be all right, we just need to get to the bottom of this. better now than later in another prison. Have a tissue ....

Better now? Good boy. No, no need to thank me, it's what I'm here for. Let's go on .... you said something about a priest? Is this significant?

Okay, so you don't happen to be religious ..... What? You wish you were a priest?? Because of the boys, is that it? Or was it the free wine?

Both, huh. Well, you say the wine was for the boys, and the boys were for you .. if of course you happened to be a priest. I know, I see it all the time on the news, doesn't make it right.

That really is interesting. You say that your father always said if your sister wasn't good enough for your family, she wasn't good enough for anybody else's ? Is that what you mean?

I'm curious now. Who would you have compared that too?

Oh, friends. well yes I can see that. I mean share and share alike, right?

..... And your problem was that she wasn't as good as the others? I mean by comparison, having had both, or rather all?

Moving on, do you by chance think that everyone in your family has the same DNA? You know what that is right?

So glad you happen to be up on stuff like that. shows promise. No, not now .., in the future. You may just have a glimmer of hope. I assure you, sincerely Harrison, this isn't over .. we will overcome this. Have faith.

No, not that priest crap again. Get over it will you?!?

Good morning friendlies
Today is like another Monday for us, and tomorrow is Friday, lol
Stood in the queue for 2 hours just to make two little crosses. There were A LOT of people. When we were about halfway, the queue was just as long as it was when we started. They were quite busy there yesterday. We went there at about 10. Got there and saw the looong queue and decided to go for breakfast and coffee at the Wimpy (Restaurant). Went back at about 12 and the queue was still very long. But we decided to just do it and eventually got to vote at 2pm... It was crazy
This is for both you and DAle.... From the sounds of it you need more voting/polling places. Lines like that happen here if the election is important enough to the low information voters in the larger cities for them to turn out. In many smaller communities lines are short and wait times are measured in minutes. A couple states allow online voting and absentee ballots(mail in)are available for shut ins and people who will be out of their home district on election day. The down side is the potential for voter fraud and manipulation of those ballots.

For Dale again..... Its:(present tense) "I feel like crap." (past tense superlatives) "I never felt crappier." or "This movie is the crappiest." Kind of along the lines of: happy/happier/happiest.

A crapper is where one goes to take a crap. Unless you don't give a crap. Hope this helps.

So angry you seem. All the years of being a night watchman have certainly taken a toll huh. Must be extremely difficult at your age to be in the obvious rut which you've fallen in old timer. To bad the old hen at home can't help ($) out just a bit to ease things up for you.
All my best, your pal HF.

I'm quiet content. YOUR the one who seems to have taken a turn for the worse. Instead of pigging out at Vegas Casino buffets you're now in North Kakalakie, most likely in an RV park. Sans Brenda, who finally got smart and moved on. I surmise your bitterness comes from seeing others happy here on topix, the place where you placed your hopes for a lasting relationship. But since a leopard cannot change its spots, you f**ked the NEW one up as you had the previous ones. Crawl back into your bottle. No one will miss you. Harry Sh1tbird......#loser.....

Good Morning Everyone

YAY today is Friday and I am feeling very much better Ruby.
Had a couple of phone calls made last night and I am "up and running". Sorted. Thank you Ruby for your input and listening.
Kids are better and back to normal. This Flu stomach bug is not a joke, really if you find you feel rotten then get stuff from the chemist to curtail it. It takes you down very quickly.
I hope you all have a great day/evening today and an even better weekend.
Our family was blessed with the birth of twin boys last night. First time ever in our family!!!!! I am glad I am not the Mom LOL

Morning Okimar, I have found through this life to ignore nasty, ugly people. He should be saying "There, but for the grace of God, go I". It can happen to them anytime. Have a great evening/day.

I don't think they expected such a big voter turnout. But I agree. One or two additional places won't harm anyone. We are a little behind in terms of online voting. Apparently it's somewhere in the pipeline but not getting my hopes up just yet. There would still be a lot of corruption and misuse of the system if that ever comes into use. And fewer people would be able to cast their vote, because not everyone has access to a computer with an internet connection, and not everyone is computer literate. There will always be a downside to everything I guess.

A Kindle is like a digital "book" if I'm not mistaken - You can download e-books (electronic books) and load it onto your Kindle for easy reading.

Good Morning Ruby,
YAY FRIDAYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!
Okay so that counts me out. I have just been given my one bosses computer to have at home and I have email now. Welcome to the 21st Century Dale LOL Also my mobile got dropped one time too many and it went a bit odd and I had to get another phone. They did not have regular Nokia mobiles so I had to have one with icons (to say that I was lost, would be the under statement of the year). My one son is in IT so he sorted it for me and put it like I normally have ie words telling me messages, inbox, sent, etc. So now I can use it. Those icons are a mystery to me Ruby. I see people with Blackberry's and they still remain a mystery to me. I tried to answer my sons the other evening and I cut the person off. So I am not that useful with mobile phones. So a "Kindle" I think would be lost on me. I am going to try and register on topix this weekend. Don't hold your breath hey! I am not stupid just getting to know all this stuff.
Have a great day Ruby. I checked the calendar and we have to wait until June 16th for the next public holiday. Ha Lol

As a matter of fact, Dale, let me answer both questions here.
Kindle, from Amazon.com is an on-line E-Book web source.
You can peruse hundreds of thousands of different books. Some are free, some are inexpensive, others not so much.
The app is free, for windows, Android, I-pad and phone. And of course Kindle readers.
I have three books available there, one pending.
Check out 'On Holy Ground' free this week-end. as is one other.

I'm wondering... Is it just by me or are others also experiencing problems when they open the YOVP page? It opens the page but then redirects to a blank page, with just Topix.com showing on the tab. It's super frustrating, because it does that about 4 or 5 times before it opens properly and without problems.
I have YOVP bookmarked and haven't had any problems with it before, this is a recent thing. I haven't changed anything. It also happens on the home pc, and on my personal laptop too
