Zimmerman was following Martin, no one is denying that, what the boobs on this thread keep saying is that Zimmerman was perusing Martin, which he was not...following and observing is a completely different thing and 100% legal!
The brain being shut off, are by those who throw common sense out the window, and make up stories about MMA defenses, and pre-planned killings and so forth!
A little correction to your statement about citizens arrests...Citizens have every right to make a citizen arrest if they reasonably believe a felony is being or has been committed as well as other things. It is quite detailed to go into all the aspects of that here and now, and I am not suggesting Zimmerman was evoking his right to make a citizens arrest.
As far as Zimmerman following Martin...it was important to see where this thug was going and what he was up to, EVERY CITIZEN has that right, where the line was crossed is when Martin aggressively confronted Zimmerman and a violent and dangerous manner.
Zimmerman defended himself, and the end result was that he exercised his right to protect himself against grave bodily damage!
BOTTOM LINE...He stood his ground as permitted by law, as acknowledged by the police, and as the recognized by the country prosecutor!
It wasn't until the race baiters got involved until the political correctness machine BS 'special prosecutor" was appointed!
Thanks for proving Zman guilty. "Citizens have every right to make a citizen arrest if they reasonably believe a felony is being or has been committed" Martin did nothing against the law. He committed no crime.

Really?
Did you pull that one out of Captain Z's ass?
You are out of touch, and clearly from your obsession with saying "Captain Z" along with the word "negro" shows you are really loopy!

You are a fool...and notice how no one is coming to your defense on this! lol

You are dealing with brain dead racist thugs, unaware of popular philanthropic organizations such as The United Negro College Fund.

They are desperately flailing, protesting scientific evidence proving that Captain Z had committed premeditate murder and his daddy, judge Zimmerman, got police chief to sweep murder under the rug....

_ I can see what Fox News - Talk-radio hosts and their ditto-heads are working on: they want a license to continue hunting down and slaying young Negro males with impunity...

Unlike you, I don't believe in lynch mob. Captain Z did commit premeditate murder of an innocent kid and he must pay.

You will pay, too, once you are caught slaying young Negroes as well... Your time is just about up to face justice....

George Zimmerman, the man on trial for fatally shooting Trayvon Martin last year, received high marks in a criminal litigation course that touched on Florida state law regarding when it’s appropriate to use self-defense and the so- called “Stand Your Ground” statute. Zimmerman took the course, along with classes in criminal justice and investigation, at Seminole State College, a public college in Sanford where he was pursuing a bachelor’s degree. The testimony was important to prosecutors because Zimmerman had said during an interview with Sean Hannity of Fox News last summer that he was not familiar with the Stand Your Ground law prior to the shooting. Jurors were shown that interview on Tuesday afternoon.
Why is this man a liar?
I don't believe Z is a liar. Anyone who has gone to college knows that a great majority of what is taught is only retained long enough to get past the final exam. The prosecution is totally botching this case. It is obvious this is politically motivated.

Nope!
It's obvious the Neighborhood Captain planned his self-defense before capturing and murdering the child to avenge home invasion his neighbor was a victim of. Captain Z got very emotionally involved with the apparent terror some young Negroes were inflicting on residents. Captain Z killed Martin in an attempt to put fear in the heart of them Negro thugs in that neighborhood.

Captain Z saw Trayvon as just a sacrificial lamb (Z has a deprived mind)....

Politics aside, Zman had no right to play cop, from the classes it's obvious he thought he was a cop. As you know, we have enough gun happy shoot first cops, Zman watched way too much tv, he had a simple choice to obey the 911 operator, he didn't.

Nobody could stop Captain Z that night. Captain Z was out to put fear in the heart of neighborhood thugs. Captain Z wanted to avenge home invasion his neighbor and friends were a victim of just few days ago...

- Some young Negro had to die that night; Trayvon was at the wrong place at the wrong time....

_ Once a young Negro had been spotted, Captain Z called the police to establish his alibi. He then followed his prey to the darkest area of the community he could thought of; Captain Z then, used his MMA training to put a submissive lock on Trayvon, chocking him with his legs, thus making it hard for Martin to scream with a normal voice as he was gasping for air. Once Z got his prey in a submissive position, Captain Z shot Trayvon. Gun recoiled, causing bloody nose injury to Captain Z's face.... Captain Z was about to put Trayvon's finger print on the gun as neighbor with flashlight emerged from the dark. Captain Z explained to witness that ( he was not trying to put finger print on gun) he was just trying to stretch out Martin's hands....

- A Martin's finger print on gun would further cement Captain Z's self-defense claim....

_ DNA results and forensic evidence blow-up Zimmerman's claims...

No doubt; cold-blooded murder!

First....he was not in violation of any law where the police can command anything...in other words he did NOT have to "OBEY" anything. Wow you are a submissive, no thinking, little weasel aren't you?

What evidence are you pointing to that says he thought he was a cop...what class and what testimony made you think that he thought he was a cop?

Television...I believe the only ones who watch too much television are the likes of you whacko tree hugging race baiting biased idiots that refuse or are unable to apply any real world common sense to this situation.
You fools keep bringing up unrealistic scenarios, and foolish viewpoints of what happened or supposedly happened.

People like you and your fellow like minded nuts (including that out of touch racist bigot dangerousrightwingbigot) are out in left field, you lack vision or the ability to be realistic.

And finally I love how you morons have already resigned to the fact that Zimmerman is guilty before the trial is even over...talk about lynch mobs...you guys are jokes and dangerous.

Grab your torches, we gonna go kill a witch!

The bravest thing Zimmerman could have done is follow instructions. Then the kid would have been questioned. Everyone would go back home and we would not be here having this trial. Our tax dollars pay the operators for a reason, true they are not the police, but are the arm of the police. Most gun owners I know that think they're some kind of bad ass would shit their pants if they were ever in a situation where they thought they had to use their gun.

LOL! Zimmerman is the perfect example. Overreacted, shit his pants and the damage is done.

I disagree that Zimmerman needed to stop observing Martin, he felt there was relevant cause to see what he was up to...not one person can or should be persecuted for that, EVER! This is still a free country!

Legal gun owners with CPL's DO NOT think they are badasses, they are the most respectful of the law and constitutional right they have in being able to carry a weapon.
But you are absolutely correct in the fact that most people certified to carry a concealed weapon, do not ever want to have to draw the weapon, because drawing it means using it, which means deadly force is the intent. Basically put, if a legal gun owner with a CPL has to draw their gun, the realism is that they are going to kill someone! And no law-biding citizen wants to do that!

Overreacted is your assessment...stand your ground and self defense means just that...it does not mean sit down and have a "spot of tea"!

Again, this is a real life situation not a text book bro fest where people react a little differently than suburban and rural folks would expect!

Zim was the NW captain which means he thought he was so important that he didn't need to follow 911 direction. Yes, he was truly an idiot for leaving his house, and Martin equally as stupid for attacking a stranger. If either one of them had used their brains we would be having this discussion.

Zimmerman was an overzealous citizen, Martin was an overly aggressive racially biased attacker!
Zimmerman was able to defend himself, attacker is no more!

In a perfect world is it better to have an overzealous citizen who is trying to make things better, or an overly aggressive thug who is trying to destroy civility?

By the way...it had nothing to do with feeling "important" ..what a stupid thing to say!
