No Alaska can not help. I am sure there are racist up here but everyone I have meet is so nice. Plus even though there are not a lot of blacks up here there are more than most think there are. Oh and you have all the natives, koreans, russians, thi, and several others. They are very diverse up here. So no we do not want the racit bigots either, thanks for asking though.

Blacks have been the vicitm of oppression and it's important that we don't repeat our historically bad mistakes.

racism is endemic in every country in the world! always has been and always will be! to single out the us as the cause defies common sense! the us is just 0ver 200 years of age and recorded history has survived over 10000 years! at one time or another every race was enslaved! possibly the issue has never been resolved in the us is that noone thinks they are racist! also our political structure is such that panderers love to fan racial issues because it gets them votes! it would be refreshing if pols would establish a record and run on it but since most pols have such poor records they could't get elected if they were the only person running! so they fan issues that divide and claim to have the elixir to fix it and we naive americans flock to them like the rats to the pied piper! sad - very sad!!!

I see your point. I don't see many Blacks supporting my posts. I made lots of posts talking about their accomplishments and except for just a few people, it's mostly ignored. So, I think I'm just wasting my time with it, really.

It doesn't help matters and people are going to think what they want anyway and keep posting more of the same.

Hi Johnny,
I live in Saratoga County now but am originally from further down south, in Orange County, NY.
It's about 50 miles north of NYC.

My parents were from the Bronx and Manhatten. They moved from NYC when I was only a year old.
There's so much to do there in NYC.

You must have enjoyed Riverside Park on July 4th, I think you said. We used to drive down to the West Side and visit family there. We love Central Park and of course, the museums - the touristy things. The Guggenheim is great. We took our daughter to the Museum of Natural History when she was younger. Looking forward to going back to the city.
