Many consumers may be persuaded by celebrities appearing on commecials, but I'll tell you one consumer who ISN'T persuaded by their mere appearance on commercials:'M-E !!!' See, I'm not going to buy a Kia just because Blake Griffin slam dunks in their commercials. I'm not going to McDonald's just because I see LeBron James strolling into a McDonald's in a commercial. And I'm NOT going to buy a Buick Lacrosse, or a pack of Icy-Hot, just because Shaquille O' Neal advertises their products. So what's my point?? My point is, I think a lot of companies are WASTING MILLIONS OF DOLLARS ON CELEBRITIES.
