Police Arrest Suspects in Holloway Case

Three young men who were previously detained as suspects in the disappearance of American teenager Natalee Holloway have been re-arrested in the case, the Aruban public prosecutor's office said Wednesday.

I feel sorry for this Alabama family and I am sorry this case has taken so long to solve. I also feel sorry for the people in Aruba as they are such a proud country, and I know from experiencing many a vacation there, that the people want to do the right thing. Let's pray this gets settled soon for all involved.

I hope this time they keep them locked up. I bet they thought they got away with killing that young lady. I wish I could have seen the look on their faces when they were arrested. I feel their parents knew they did it and tried to cover it up as well. That's why one was away and the other two parents couldn't afrord to send them anywhere. I hope this is over once and for all. I'm not at all interested in going to killer ruba.

No, that was to hold them for investigation. They can always be re-arrested.

I never have understood why all you dolts think this girl's death has anything to do with Aruba. This kind of thing happens in Chicago all the time, as well as many other places. The only reason we know about it is that it was a slow news season, and they had a picture of a pretty white girl to show. If this same thing had happened to a black girl in Detroit, nary a word would be spoken. Might be a harsh reality, but you all know it is true.

When it became obvious that they were covering up something originally, soon after the murder, I was hoping that Americans would refuse to vacation in Aruba. But it appears that many Americans are still going there.

I have to agree with you. I doubt the case will ever be solved by those Keystone Cops because they don't want to solve it. Van der Sloot and the Kalpoes will get out of it again, even though they are guilty.

It's true, if the same thing happened to a black girl in Detroit, there would be NO media coverage. Why do the TV networks give wall-to-wall coverage of these missing-affluent-white-woman cases? Because they know there is a huge audience of celebrity-obsessed white women who love this stuff and can't get enough of the coverage, thus driving up ratings. It's pathetic. People Magazine/public school mentality.

I hope this family finally gets closure over all of this. It has dragged along long enough. Hopefully if they are tried and found that they did the crime, one of them will say where the body is so that she may be brought home for a final resting place. And these jerks should get the death penalty.

Although Joran van der Sloot was sent to Holland for school, he was never "away" in terms as Aruba is under Dutch jurisdiction, thus the same government as where he was arrested.
