What separates Christianity and the Bible from other world religions?

There is no other religious book that has undergone such scrutiny as the Bible, and there has never been found even one discrepancy that couldn't be cleared up with good scholarship, according to many great and respected scholars. The Bible is the only religious book that so many have tried to destroy, outlaw, and kill the readers of it. Why no other book? It remains the number one published and selling book in all of history. Jesus said in Luke 21:33, "but my words shall not pass away." In addition, no other belief has claimed that someone died for us, and has proof of their resurrection. All other religions tell you what we must do to hopefully EARN our salvation. Christianity tells us we can do nothing to earn it, it's a gift. Christianity states that there is a loving God who cares for us. No other religion mentions a loving God who always is giving. Other religions have a god who takes, who demands sacrifices of children, or who tell people to kill themselves to secure eternal life. And even then they never are assured of their salvation. Also, no other religion deals with the sin issue. There is a penalty for our sins (Rom.6:23), and Jesus paid it for us. Sin is only dealt with in Christianity. Notice after a disaster strikes, only the Christian Church is out there helping. You don't hear of that with other religions. Jesus said you would know a Christian by their love toward others.

By all means, elaborate.
Provide some examples to support your position.

A loving God would not kill everyone except Noah's brood in a flood. That's one.
Then there's the inconsistencies with the birth fable - if there was a Jesus, he was born in spring.
How 'bout the whole book of Leviticus? LOL

The book is a collection of fables bastardized for the purpose of power. An imperfect work of man. And while there maybe some truth within, you cannot logically extend that truth to the whole document. Anyone objective enough would reject any idea of following such a vain and petulant god who has lately been quite neglectful.
