Message to white people from a happy black woman. leave us alone

Im a genarally happy person, im not an angry black woman like we are perceived to be, but i do get sick of white people whining, complaining, and moaning about black people! no matter what forum there is always white people saying negative things about black people or africa. Always racist comments about blacks, its annoying we just want to live our lives. and i know someones gonna come on here and start spewing nonsense about statistics LOL well ill come back with some about whites

It goes both ways. I've seen plenty of threads started by apparent blacks that are clearly ment to mock, slander, and provoke white people. On Tops Stories, there may be more threads like what your describing. But on the AA Fourm..., you know what I'm saying. I'm not buying your innocent victim song and dance. Your attempting to bait people into a verbal confrontation. You say that you will respond in kind to any negative comments. Well, right black at you.

did i offend you in any way? i just came from a thread about latinos but somehow it ended up about " african americans" and of course the ones who switched topic were white men, and theystart throwing around statistics which is typical and i see it all the time!

i could care less if ppl comment on this or not it was simply a MESSAGE didnt care if it got any responses WE WANT TO BE LEFT ALONE to live our lives like everyone else

You know the only thread I've seen removed was started by a black guy talking about beating and robbing whites and raping white women, etc... The ENTIRE thread was removed by Topix. As I said, it goes both ways. "WE WANT TO BE LEFT ALONE". Yeah right.

Wouldn't be nice if what you said were true, "to live like everyone else". The problem is that so many of the blacks don't want to "live like everyone else".

They want to dress different, they want to talk different (ebonics), they want to be called "African Americans" when they don't know s**t about Africa and have no ties there.

I know of many blacks that are mainstream people, they are intellegent, they contribute to society, they speak well, and are knowledgeable. Do we hear about them? NO! It's the wanna-be gang bangers that shuffle along with their pants half off trying to look so cool! those are the ones that create the black image.

May I suggest that you work towards cleaning up your own people before slamming the whites.

well since ive been on here ive seen plenty of profiles of people stating that they are black when they are not. you can always tell, because they try and type what they think is ebonincs or theyll say outlandish things. but anyhow the majority of black people just want to be left alone like i said! whats so hard about accepting that? anyway im done good day

Racism is alive and well in the country. People are idiots in general. Race doesn't really matter. Each person is an individual responsible for their own actions. America is the land of opportunity. The door is open. All anyone has to do is get an education (libraries are free) and go for it. There are many road to poverty. I have a black female doctor, my husband's last surgeon was black, and I have used a black female attorney. I grew up in the midwest and never had any contact with any minorities until I went to college. Color doesn't matter much to me. I look for good people. We are all our own worst enemies. The media does not portray anyone in a fashion that remotely approaches reality. Whites are uptight and mean. Blacks play basketball and sing. Hispanics live 25 people to a room. Anyone not just like me is obviously evil. Give me a break.

I guess I didn't write my post PC enough for you to understand. What I was trying to get across was that some blacks seem to go out of their way to be "different". I might add that there are also many "white" stereotypes that can be added to this equation, such as the "redneck-hillbilly", etc.

What I was trying to point out was the perception of different races and how that perception is perpetrated on purpose.

i believe most people take objection when you make absolutes in your statements, like "ALWAYS white people saying...". it's not polite to lump people into crowds unless they state it as such. and the only one preventing you from living life the way you want to is YOU...you my dear are free to love or piss off whomever you like. and if you say it's not that simple...then you simply don't know what you want. enjoy.
