Oh No! Pistol Packin' Mama? Will the Circle Be Unbroken? Ring of Fire? Jackson? that's a whole treasure chest to be trashed....lotta rocknroll goes out the window without that foundation. Please re-consider

What's wrong with 'Old Old way back country'? Crakker barrel country music? Would you like to explain that potentially insulting phrase a little bit better?

<quoted text>What do you think of Styx? I liked them as a kid. I think I was ten when I bought "Pieces of eight" with "Blue collar man" and "renagade". Now I look back at them as too theatrical.
Oh sadtruth, sorry to say, I have never liked the group Styx. I don't know why, but they never appealed to me. Are they the group tha sang "Take The Long Way Home"? I hated that song! Well....we seem to have a tie for 1st place of the worst song. "She Bangs", and "Tiptoe Through The Tulips". Too bad Carole King can't post here and clear up the Little Eva issue. Oh well...

Wasn't Andy Kim the singer for the Archies? I listen to the oldies stations once in a great while, and they'll play that song. I love the melody and beat. One song I always hated, but didn't grow up in that era, was, "Town Without Pity", by Gene Pitman? Ugh! Up there with one of the worst!

I like that old country. Tennesee Ernie ford, Hank Sr. It's all good. I like old sound country better than modern sound country. Lately I've been listening to a guy by the name of Junior Brown. If you like the old sound and you haven't yet heard him, give him a listen. Good stuff.

"take the long way home" was Supertramp. I look back at Styxx and think, I was a kid, it's o.k.. But I do still like Supertramp. They had "bloody well right", "take a look at my girlfriend", "the logical song". Yah, I do kind of like them. Although I don't own any of their music. I think "Breakfast In America" was their big album.

O.K., somebody posted about Jefferson Starship, and didn't like "We Built This City". However, I loved the Red Octopus album, and my favorite song on there is "Run Away". One of the most best love songs, I think, ever written. Never get tired of that melody.

Hmmm, this is just too hard. I don't even consider most of today's shit as "music" but I guess I'd have to say that "She Thinks My Tractor's Sexy" ranks pretty high...

Daily Horoscope for May 25

Pisces

You're raring to go today, especially on domestic projects. You'll achieve a tremendous amount if you're allowed to proceed at your own pace and in your own time, but you'll soon get ratty if you suspect someone is breathing down your neck or trying to tell you what to do. You'll also feel irritated with people you know really well, so be prepared for a few fireworks.
