The word Stuart comes from the old nordish root Svart which means black. Stuart is the same word as Swarthy, which means black in old English. There was once a Stuart line of Kings in England. The name of the founding ancestor was Stuart which means Black. we feature the original painting of one of the Stuart Kings of England and Scotland, King Charles II, also lovingly known as the “black boy” of England by his subjects. http://www.africaresource.com/rasta/wp-conten... http://www.wsu.edu/~dee/GRAPHICS/GALLERY/ENLI... The eldest surviving son of Charles I and Henrietta Maria of France, daughter of Henry IV of France, the future Charles II was born on 29th May, 1630, at St. James Palace, London, the second child of the marriage, he replaced an elder brother, Charles James, who had died shortly after birth. Charles was a large, dark, but clearly healthy baby. Charles II appearance was anything but English, with his sensuous curling mouth, dark complexion, black hair and dark brown eyes, he much resembled his Italian maternal grandmother, Marie de Medici's side of the family. During his escape after the Battle of Worcester, he was referred to as 'a tall, black man' in parliamentary wanted posters. One of the nick-names he acquired was the black boy His height, at six feet two inches, probably inherited from his Danish paternal grandmother, Anne of Denmark, also set him apart from his contemporaries in a time when the average Englishman was far smaller than today. Charles I his father was second son of James VI of Scotland (King James) and Anne of Denmark, Charles was born in Dunfermline Palace, Fife on 19 November 1600. His paternal grandmother was Mary, Queen of Scots. Charles was baptised on 2 December 1600 by the Bishop of Ross, in a ceremony held in Holyrood Abbey and was created Duke of Albany, Marquess of Ormond, Earl of Ross and Lord Ardmannoch. In attempt to regain the lost throne of the Stuarts, Charles sailed for Scotland to ally himself with the Covenanters against their mutual enemy, Oliver Cromwell. Oliver cromwell (white man) was an English military and political leader best known in England for his overthrow of the monarchy CHARLES I and temporarily turning England into a republican Commonwealth and for his rule as Lord Protector of England, Scotland and Ireland. His measures against Catholics in Scotland and Ireland have been characterised as genocidal or near-genocidal. In Ireland his record is harshly criticised. You see cromwell destroyed the black rulership of Ireland Scotland and england. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Cromwellcoi... Like I said King James was black, his son, and grandson. Here I am going to help you out, with actual evidence of how King Charles was black. Go to/look up the Dictionary of National Biography Volume 10 page 106, will describe king charles right there. The dictionary of national biography is are books that were made in the 1800s of the influential people of Britain. Also look up John Mackey's Journal, he describes the nobility right there too, using black complexion.
