Actually, she's getting out of Dodge (or in this case, Juneau) just steps ahead of the posse armed with federal indictments for embezzlement, fraud and bribery, among other charges that will likely be handed down against Palin and first husband Todd as well as other associates about the time she officially steps down. An on-going investigation into the construction of the Wassila Sports Complex and the Palin's home is getting ready to file charges against a number of people involved and the Palins will have a whole lot of explaining to do.
