We should all celebrate "Test Fire Days"

Winners would include

We could always load up an old airliner with fuel, install remote controls and fly it into an Al Queda hide-out. Actually if we could ever pin-point Bin-Laden with any accuracy it would be a fitting death for the bastard.

When (if) we ever capture him we should send him off in a plane crash. He may get a clue when the pilots have chutes

There is no reason for anybody to be alarmed by Free China test firing a missle. It is a bit of a stretch for a hysteric reporter to claim that the United States would be alarmed by such a beneficial activity.

My time has come . I have been saying for years that this should be an olyimpic sport. The best part is that a missle cannot blood dope. However I once saw an East German female rocket............... oh well that is a story for another day.

I agree with everything you said. I wonder when you say " hysteric reporter " if there is any other kind of reporter.

I would hate to see Taiwan become as paranoid as N. Korea. Although they have much to worry about with China harrassing them. The Bush administration has apparently given up on Taiwan or at least severely moderated its verbal support.

Well, now, if North Korea firing a missle is a way of it flipping the U.S. the bird, what do you thing Taiwan firing a missle is doing?

And who, pray tell, do you think is going to have to defend them if they start a pissing contest that spins out of control?

I don't think that it is at all unreasonable for the U.S. to be alarmed at an action that can only be regarded as provacative. With the scenario playing out in North Korea, ramping up the tensions in the regoin ain't exactly a bright idea.

I think all nations should start test firing missles left and right all over the place. That will get the scare up. We could fire a few across Mexico and China could lob a few across the mid east and Russia could fire a few across Europe. Just pack a bag lunch and make a day of it.
While this is a bag of laughs for everyone I don't find it all that funny. Everbody all of a sudden wants to test missles.Hello!!

Dude they know where Bin Laden is but he's harmless right now and as long as he is out there they can drop a new video tape every now and then to scare up the polls.

Taiwan belongs to China, soon as they understand this the better off they will be. They test fire a missile that can hit china, sure but its suicide.

Conspiracy theorist at work. You should write a novel. It may be a best seller. Hopefully you could bury Michael Moore's book.

Only by conquest. But once Taiwan freed itself from China, it no longer belonged to China. The free people of a free nation do not belong to anybody or any other nation. Any new conquest of Taiwan by China that was not in self defence would be an illegal conquest by China under current international law. It would be somewhat similar to the illegal conquest of Tibet.
