Why do white people think racism ended wit slavery

To me it seems whites think blacks are mad soley because of slavery...i notice on alot of threads white people will say, my family came here after slavery...NEWSFLASH: black people were being lynched up until the late 60's and i bet your family joined right in the crowd...why wouldnt they...they wanted to fit in the good ole american way

oh and civil rights movement was 1964...so white people need to get over the whole...my family didnt own slaves.

The african Americans who got lynched after slavery ended probably did something which led to their lynching. You say "Oh, & the civil rights movement was 1964...so White people need to get over the whole...my family didn't own slaves." ---Well, this is FACT. MOST Whites who are living today, as well as their ancestors came to America WAY, WAY, WAY after slavery ended. You see Google Me, african Americans made 2 VERY critical errors from the 1960s till now.--- 1. They DON'T support one another, they DON'T have each others backs & they don't take care of each other (aka/ala -- brothas DON'T take care of their kids nor women & sistas don't take care of their kids). 2. african Americans lost the battle of winning the hearts & minds of White America. Back in the 1950s & 1960s, MANY Whites were sympathetic -- empathetic with african Americans plight, etc.. However, african Americans behavior from the 1960s till now (aka/ala -- crime, illegitimate birth rates, welfare & entitlement dependency, frivolous lawsuits, constantly playing the "race card", constantly making demands for more free handouts -- entitlements, laziness, insubordination, dead beat fathers & single, unwed mothers who neglect their kids) alienated & polarized them from the rest of America. Subsequently, the rest of America (primarily White America) TRULY wouldn't care if the african American "community" would sink -- succumb.

Well, I am NOT going to get over that my family didn't own slaves, not when the slavery issue is thrown at me.
I was born in 1968, I never was part of a lynching, my family never joined anything.
I notice a lot of generalizations blacks make about whites, it works both ways.

The caption under your picture says "my baby will learn the truth". What truth would that be? The truth that you are closed minded and full of hate? The truth that you want to blame anyone that is white for the actions of a few? The truth of what it's like to be a bigot? well all i did was ask a simple question and im being attacked, but johnny says all kind of bullshit and it goes unoticed, well thats how it is in the real world...whatever has happened to blacks and is happening to black people likes to be swept under the rug and forgotten...like it never happened. and if someone mentions it they are considered full of hate. why? i dont hate anyone i just want to know why? but like always avoid the questions and the truth
