And He is pretty much alive, reading what you write against him :P. Careful, when He comes back (and He surely will, some things must first take place) you won't inherit the Kingdom of God if you continue like this

"pretty much alive"….is that like a zombie?

Why would an omnipotent, all powerful god be so insecure as to punish people for the mere transgression of not believing in him/her/it?

Looks to me like he's about fourteen years overdue.

What do you mean, "Pretty much alive?"

Are you admitting you have your own doubts? If so, then why should anyone else believe in your god?

You didnt catch the drift man. I said it exactly because of people like you and Just Think. You think He is dead when he died on the Cross. But he Ressurected

That's because this is Pre Tribulation time. Just a small intro of what's coming.

All right. Remember when Jesus commanded his disciples and Mary Magdalene to go and preach the Gospel to everyone? It happened 3 days after his death, when he ressurected.

If Ressurection never happened then the entire belief of Christians would've fell apart already. Also if you question the existence of Jesus you also question the existence of Aristotle, Julius Caesar etc. 5000 people saw his Ressurection. People who could've been persecuted at that time for saying such things. If Christ didn't rise these men would never be heard from again

There is literally no proof that Jesus rose from the dead.

None.

If you're going to say that BECAUSE the disciples went forth to preach, THEN Jesus must have been resurrected...

Then you're also going to have to believe that BECAUSE Mormonism spread, THEN Joseph Smith must have been visited by God making Mormonism the one true religion.

See how that works?

Again, there is no proof that any god ever existed.

And if the vedic deities of 4,000 year old hinduism never existed, then the belief in those would have collapsed even longer ago, right?

Sometimes, people just really like to suspend disbelief and cling to a comforting tale.

Please, Mormons were created by a 33rd degree freemason (occult satanist) J. Smith. Their beliefs arent Christian anyway. It's a laugh I die smiling at their beliefs every time I read them

They are what simple folks call a herecy. And my post has nothin to do with Mormonism. I nicely gave you all the proof and I didn't say
"because the disciples went forth to preach, THEN Jesus must have been resurrected..."

Jesus died, three days later He DID ressurect and commanded them to go and preach the Good Word. They didnt get his commandment before but AFTER his Ressurection. And everywhere you look from ground to the sky there is a proof of Lord's existence. Simon Greenleaf founder of Harvard School of Law and one of the world greatest authorities on evidence. He studied all the testimonies reviewed all facts, discarded everything that was inadmissible and concluded: "based upon the evidence the Ressurection is as established as any other event in the human history"

You gave absolutely no proof that Jesus was resurrected. You gave absolutely no proof that any god ever existed.

Thanks for playing.

You mean Simon Greenleaf (1783 - 1853), founder of christian apologetics??

The very fellow who applied the ancient document rule to the gospels? An absurd misapplication of a rule which still does not speak to the authenticity of the document or the trustworthiness of the author(s).

If you want to address skeptics and cynics, who by their very nature examine and dissect everything which doesn't seem rational or plausible, then you must do much better than the drivel and pablum you've been regurgitating.

Not true.

His original followers may have believed his message, that the Messiah of Prophecy was about to come within their lifetime. And they would have wanted to share that message so that the Jewish people would have been ready when the time came to toss the Roman occupiers out.

As far as his alleged resurrection, the only evidence that it may have occurred is in the HIGHLY biased books of the NT. Even then, the earliest gospel written, Mark, originally did not include any stories about a resurrection.

Then too, even if we do accept the dubious testimony of the writings of people who never met him, the Bible has other stories of people being resurrected. In fact, every "miracle" that Jesus is alleged to have performed had already been done somewhere else in the Bible.

But that is an impossible hurdle for any xian to clear, since they HAVE no facts or evidence on their side...
