light skin men

There are light skin tones and darker skin tones in the Black community. There are preferences in attraction to different skin tones. I am a light skin black man and some may think of me as mulatto, but I'm just black and both my black parents were just black and light skin too. I like all shades of black women however, and through out my life I got approached by mostly light skin black women or slightly darker black women with natural, long, straight or curly hair. Lighter skin black men and women - or - those with natural straight or curly hair - or - those who are really "Mulattos" (1 black parent and one of another race) are more rare compared to average looking blacks. I've been told through out my life, mostly by what is considered "beautiful black women" (women with straight/curly hair or lighter skin), that I am very attractive. The truth is a light skin woman and those women with straight or curly hair who may be a little darker or those who are really "Mulattos" will prefer to date lighter skin men or a Mulatto if he is one of the rare, attractive types in their eyes, when he stands out among other black light skin, dark skin or Mulatto men. Keep in mind, these types of light skin men or Mulatto men who stand out from others, don't come by everyday, but are very much in demand when on the scene by what is considered to be very beautiful women in the black community.....From my experience, most of these women who are "considered to be attractive women with the hair and/or light skin color or darker skin" start out looking for a very attractive light skin or Mulatto man. If they don't find him, they marry an average looking darker skin man, who chases these such women everyday. These average looking black men usually want their children to look a certain way (lighter skin or straight or curly hair). It is not easy for an attractive light skin or Mulatto woman to land an attractive light skin or Mulatto man in black neighborhoods of 85% darker skin people......The truth is when that light skin or Mulatto woman finds that special light skin or Mulatto man, they try hard to make it work.....My parents did and they stayed together peacefully and never divorced.....

Women date for status, money, protection, height not for skin color. A lot of black men think they can just be dark skin and don't have to work in other areas to attract a woman it was true years ago a black woman used to put up with a broke man with no ambition to become something. Now a lot of black women are running to white men and other races of men because of that attitude. It does seem like the light skin black men have become irrelevant to the black community since Obama became president you hear nothing about us. A lot of dark skin black men feel like they don't have to work for anything this leads to poverty, jealousy of hard working men with money, false sense of entitlement, lack of education and crime
