funny...but you can provide no evidence other than "take your word for it" to support your claim.
As a result of Carter's bad policy, the Soviets invaded Afghanistan, and hostages were taken in Iran. We attempted to rescue the hostages and we failed. This is history. This is what happened. These are "facts" that support my statement that Carter decimated our military.

Well, if you repeat a lie long enough, even if no one else believes it, you will! ;-)

Thank you.
No, rollin doesn't appear to be a very happy person. Nor is he polite, or remotely likable. He even acts as though what he posts here matters. Poor fella!

Clearly. However, I think you misunderstood my responding post. It was not directed to you, personally. I used the pronoun, "you" in the general sense, not in the direct sense, meaning that if anyone repeats a lie long enough, eventually the person stating the lie will believe it, even if no one else does.

When i was still in business, it seemed unemployment started going up, summer 2007....one bad sign, was watching guys leave high-paying jobs, to go into the mortgage business...easy to connect those dots now....

Those guys in the mortgage business... where are they now? I know a few myself, and none of them are still in the mortgage business, nor have they improved their lot.

God knows, i was far enough ahead, to retire early in Fall, 2007....i could see the economic storm coming....Market overheating, and business not matching it....stuff like that....To me, Romney represents exactly what we don't want.....

I'm not thrilled with our choices either, but Romney has taken failing businesses and rebuilt them. Maybe he can rebuild this country, I absolutely know Obama cant. He was more worried about his legacy his first two years in office concentrating on a health care bill that many believe will bankrupt us instead of focusing on creating jobs and confidence.

If you remember, Obama went from a campaign of Hope and Change to a Presidency of Doom and Gloom. As soon as he took office for about the first two years at least, he had very little positive to say. This did not help our situation by keeping businesses purse strings tight and the entire countries for that matter.

More so than Obama? What has Obama accomplished in his first term that has improved our lot? Then, what has he specifically said he would do that is so wonderful if elected for a second term?(Keep in mind how many promises he's kept!)

Yes....for only 1 year. How do you explain an entire 4 year trend?

I'm not a fan of politicians as it is. In every case, we're only choosing the lesser of two evils. Either way, we choose evil. Regardless, I believe that what I'm about to say must be said.
Imagine giving a child a brand new, white piece of paper, and a black crayon. Then, have that child color the paper for twelve straight years. After that, erase the crayon and make the paper brand new and white again, in four years!

Now, give that same child a piece of paper that's somewhat worn and colored already, and a black crayon. Then, have the child color that used piece of paper for twelve years. After that, make that piece of paper brand new and white in only four years.
Obama is a man. Not a messiah. Also, how easily we forget that regardless of the promises these politicians make, they're only allowed to fulfill what Congress allows.(It's common that whatever party the President represents, the majority of Congress is represented by the opposite.) Also, it's our mistake that we take these promises as "concrete" when we should know by now that these promises are what our appointed leaders will bring to Congress's table, as our representative.

I can only wonder how people still put their trust in this government, especially after what happened with "Dubya's" world-wide known debacle.

Nice try but I can back up what I post.
From 1981 to 1989, nominal debt held by public nearly tripled. President Ronald Reagan increased military spending and lowered tax rates.(Reagan slashed the top income tax rate from 70% to 28%, although bills passed in 1982 and 1984 later partially reversed those tax cuts.) Because of the budget deficits that resulted, debt held by the public as a share of GDP increased from 26.2% in 1980 to 41% by the end of the 1980s.

You can apologize now or run away with your tail between your legs. Up to you.
I have just been briefly skimming this debate and whether you or Pap is correct, you come off as an arrogant, condescending prick. This is exactly the quality that drives independent and swing voters like myself away from liberals (and make no mistake I'm socially liberal). Keep acting like you are more intelligent but honestly, those who truly are, don't have to act like that. I'm just saying...

Your observations are correct. Obama has done nothing since taking over our White House to advance the position of the USA or any of its LEGAL citizens. Years from now historians willmarvel at how the man could have ever gotten to where he did.
