If God didn't create the universe, where did it come from?

I'm actually of the school of thought that God didn't create heaven and earth in a short time.

my experience with him is confirmation of that.

I believe God works with science. he is the father of science and natural law. That's why a lot of scientists are either christians or believe in intelligent design.

The wheels of God turn slowly. He meets our needs but he uses time to teach. Only when time is no more will we live in the new paradigm where everything is done att he speed of thought.

But read this by an ex palestinian terroist.

Especially what the saints will be doing immediately we are raptured.

Actually Adam and Eve eating an apple has nothing to do with creationism. That is later on in the story. Not to mention that it all depends on what angle/perspective you look at it from. There is the hard lined literal look that the earth was created in 6 days. And then there is the idea that God exists outside of time so 6 days to him could be 6 billion years to us. and there is also the idea that these were not 6 consecutive days but 1 day with a billion years for the process to complete itself and then another day with another billions years and so on. I am just saying not all christians view the beginning of life in the same way almost every christian interprets the scriptures differently and from multiple perspectives. Unless they are absolutely closed minded and unwilling to incorporate new information into their belief system. Who knows maybe if enough can be proven/disproven the whole thing may become obsolete. SO....dang it...lost my train of thought again ... it is difficult to stay on topic while at work.

See those are typical rationalisations to try to make the bible story fit the bill.
The creation story is still very inaccurate and fallacious. So suddenly you accept that the universe may be billions of years old (accepting big bang theory) but you still think god created humans out of clay or things like that.

God created the universe by bouncing atoms in and out of parallel realities (for lack of a better term) and in that two of these ghost universes formed our known universe. duh. we are not in the image of god for we are mortal and cant understand immortal for we think of it as living forever (time). God is not the bible as words are mans. the universe has no borders, as it can collide with another in a series of never ending realities all real to those who live them
