Saddam Hussein ends hunger strike: lawyer

AMMAN - Former Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein has ended his hunger strike for "health reasons," his chief lawyer Khalil Dulaimi said on Monday.

Many Iraqis said that Saddam would never be taken alive... but there he was hiding in a hole in the ground.

And now he is brave with his hunger strike? Or is merely a ploy to conspire a defense with his fellow prisoners?

Why was hunger he striking? What other methods of persuasion does he have? What did the article say? It said it was striking he wasn't allowed to be in the same cells or be in contact with his fellow prisoners...
