Let the JWs speak for themselves:
All of the below are ACTUAL JW propaganda quotes.

"Persons who deliberately spread (stubbornly hold to and speak about) teachings contrary to Bible truth as taught by Jehovah's Witnesses are apostates." Pay Attention to Yourself and to All the Flock p.94

"Some apostates are increasingly using various forms of mass communication, including the Internet, to spread false information about Jehovah's Witnesses." Watchtower 2000 May 1 p.10

"True Christians share Jehovah's feelings toward such apostates; they are not curious about apostate ideas. On the contrary, they "feel a loathing" toward those who have made themselves God's enemies, but they leave it to Jehovah to execute vengeance." Watchtower 1993 Nov 1 p.19

"Where could we turn if we would leave God's organization today? There is nowhere else!(John 6:66-69)" Watchtower 1975 Sep 1 p.531

Bible: 1 Timothy 2:5 "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, a man, Christ Jesus," vs.
Watchtower: "So in this strict Biblical sense Jesus is the "mediator" only for anointed Christians." Watchtower 1979 Apr 1 p.31

Bible: John 14:6 "Jesus said to him: "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." "John 17:3 "This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ." VS.
Watchtower: "Through the new covenant, Jehovah makes blessings available to many by means of a few. Those in the covenant are few, a mere 144,000. Through them, millions from all nations will be blessed with everlasting life in an earthly paradise. Some who are in the new covenant serve Jehovah on earth today. They alone properly partake of the bread and the wine because the cup "means the new covenant."" Watchtower 2012 Mar 1 p.17

Who is the Bible for - the Leaders!
"Special attention was being given to making up the government that would rule mankind for 1,000 years, and nearly all the inspired letters in the Christian Greek Scriptures are primarily directed to this group of Kingdom heirs-"the holy ones," "partakers of the heavenly calling." United in Worship p.111

"Also, it is to the spirit-anointed Christians who will rule in that kingdom that most of the Christian Greek Scriptures is directed, including the promises of everlasting life." Watchtower 1974 Jun 15 p.376

"All of this should impress upon the minds of the other sheep why the Christian Greek Scriptures focus so much attention on Christ and his anointed brothers and their central role in the outworking of Jehovah's purposes. The other sheep therefore consider it a privilege to support in every way possible the anointed slave class while awaiting "the revealing of the sons of God" at Armageddon and during the Millennium." Watchtower 2002 Feb 1 p.23

Wow. Just WOW!

<quoted text> Avoid mind control cults and ones where the leadership does not practice what they preach.
<quoted text> Obviously not. Take a look at the Jehovah Witnesses, Unification Church, Mormons, Scientology....
They all have the aim of controlling your mind and then your pocketbook.
By their fruits ye shall know them. And these bear some rotten fruit.
Yes, you can tell by their fruit Dogen........Which religion encourages people to study the Scriptures to see if what they are learning is really true?

The foundation for fine Christian fruitage is noted at 1 John 5:3, which states:“This is what the love of God means, that we observe his commandments.” And a basic commandment is this:“You must love your neighbor as yourself.”(Matthew 22:39) Thus, God’s true servants must have love for their neighbors regardless of their race or nationality.(Matthew 5:43-48; Romans 12:17-21)

Especially must God’s servants have love for those who are their spiritual brothers.“If anyone makes the statement:‘I love God,’ and yet is hating his brother, he is a liar. For he who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot be loving God, whom he has not seen. And this commandment we have from him, that the one who loves God should be loving his brother also.”(1 John 4:20, 21)

That love, Jesus said, would be an identifying mark of true Christians:“By this all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love among yourselves.”(John 13:35; see also Romans 14:19; Galatians 6:10; 1 John 3:10-12)

Brotherly love is the “glue” that binds God’s servants in unity:“Clothe yourselves with love, for it is a perfect bond of union.”(Colossians 3:14)

And true Christians must be at unity with their brothers worldwide, for God’s Word commands:“You should all speak in agreement ... There should not be divisions among you ... Be fitly united in the same mind and in the same line of thought.”(1 Corinthians 1:10)

To maintain this love and unity on a global scale, God’s servants must be neutral in the political affairs of this world. Jesus said:“They are no part of the world, just as I am no part of the world.”(John 17:16)

Jesus demonstrated the extent of what he had in mind when Peter used a sword to strike off the ear of one of the men who had come to arrest Jesus. Did Jesus encourage such use of force even to protect the Son of God against opposers? No, but he said to Peter:“Return your sword to its place.”(Matthew 26:52)

Thus, true Christians do not engage in the wars of the nations or in any other shedding of human blood even if refusal results in their being martyred for their neutral stand, as many have been over the centuries and even in our time. They know that only God’s Kingdom under Christ will eliminate war and bloodshed forever.(Psalm 46:9; Matthew 6:9, 10; 2 Peter 3:11-13)

History confirms that the first-century Christians would not shed human blood. A former professor of theology from England, Peter De Rosa, writes:“Shedding blood was a grievous sin. This was why Christians opposed gladiatorial combat.... While war and the use of force were necessary to preserve Rome, Christians felt unable to join in....

Christians considered themselves, like Jesus, messengers of peace; in no circumstances could they be agents of death.” On the other hand, the disunited religions of Christendom have violated the commandment of love and have shed an enormous amount of blood. They have not been messengers of peace but have repeatedly been agents of death.

A key factor is that the Witnesses really believe that the Bible is God’s Word and that what it contains is there for our instruction.(2 Tim. 3:16, 17; Rom. 15:4; 1 Cor. 10:11)

So they do not resort to philosophical arguments to evade its clear statements of truth or to justify the way of life of people who have abandoned its moral standards.

In pointing out the meaning of symbolic language in the Bible, they let the Bible provide its own explanation, instead of giving their theories as to its significance.(1 Cor. 2:13) Indications as to the meaning of symbolic terms are usually found in other parts of the Bible.(As an example, see Revelation 21:1; then, regarding the meaning of “sea,” read Isaiah 57:20. To identify “the Lamb” referred to in Revelation 14:1, see John 1:29 and 1 Peter 1:19.)

As for fulfillment of prophecy, they apply what Jesus said about being alert to events that correspond to what was foretold.(Luke 21:29-31; compare 2 Peter 1:16-19.) Conscientiously they point out those events and draw attention to what the Bible indicates they mean.

Jesus said that he would have on earth a “faithful and discreet slave”(his anointed followers viewed as a group), through which agency he would provide spiritual food to those making up the household of faith.(Matt. 24:45-47) Jehovah’s Witnesses recognize that arrangement. As was true of first-century Christians, they look to the governing body of that “slave” class to resolve difficult questions—not on the basis of human wisdom, but by drawing on their knowledge of God’s Word and his dealings with his servants, and with the help of God’s spirit, for which they earnestly pray.(Acts 15:1-29; 16:4, 5)

The Bible itself answers that God has put into the Bible what is sufficient, all we really need. It says:“All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness, that the man of God may be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work.”(2 Timothy 3:16, 17) So the Bible is ample to “make you wise for salvation.”(2 Timothy 3:15) It is “perfect” in this sense.

You may accept the Bible as being God’s inspired Word. But how strong is your acceptance? Would it hold up under test? The prophet Jeremiah said:“The word of Jehovah became for me a cause for reproach and for jeering all day long.”(Jer. 20:8)

The experiences of Jehovah’s people in these “last days” have certainly proved Jesus’ words to be true:“Happy are you whenever men hate you, and whenever they exclude you and reproach you and cast out your name as wicked for the sake of the Son of man. Rejoice in that day and leap, for, look! your reward is great in heaven, for those are the same things their forefathers used to do to the prophets.”(Luke 6:22, 23; 2 Timothy 3:1)

Yes, God’s servants can faithfully endure all manner of persecution, and do so joyfully.

Most of them. Which one DISTORTS the scriptures and ALTERS them to their own end? Are people who would do such things actually followers of Christ?!?!?!

Absolutely no.

<quoted text> The foundation for fine Christian fruitage ......

Quoting scripture that your cult rapes behind closed doors will do no good. It does not matter what the intention of the founder was or on what Bible verses they quote. The Scribes and Pharisees quoted scripture, but they did not understand the spirit. Like the JW they wilted on the vine.

Student wrote:

You DO understand that according to the Watchtower NEITHER of us is a spiritual brother. Right? Or did you miss that point.
Student wrote:

And again you find a good example of the unholiness of the watchtower cult. They are not true to their brothers. They turn their back on them in a heartbeat if commanded to do so by the spawn of Satan (The WatchTower... INC.).

The history of the people of Yahweh is a bloody one. Often he has commanded his armies to war. But you cultists think you are above the law. Are better than anyone else. That you have been chosen. Well, you HAVE been chosen, but not by who you think. You have done as Yahweh predicted, you would forget and even suppress his name. Who but Satan himself would be behind such a plot?

Where does Jesus teach to ignore the truth?

Where does Jesus teach protection for child molesters?

Where does Jesus teach to defile the law if it suits you for your own purposes?

Where does Jesus teach shunning young women for confessing that she had been molested to the legal authorities?????

You cannot answer for the sins of your cult. You cannot answer for their support of Hitler. You cannot answer for their lack of support for the poor. You cannot answer for where BILLIONS of dollars in donations has gone to.

And you are FAR TO COWARDLY to fact the truth of what I have posted.

ALL you can do is cut and paste from the unholy Watchtower tit.

You cannot think for yourself and would be LOST if you had to try.

I feel the deepest pity for you and your deluded ilk.

This is a lie. ALL Christians believe the Bible is God's word and most denominations understand it far better than the Watchtower cult. If you had the guts you could..... Oh, well, you don't have the guts so I guess that would be a moot point.

[Moses] looked intently toward the payment of the reward.—Heb. 11:26.

Moses was not distracted by “the temporary enjoyment of sin.”(Heb. 11:25) God and his promises were so real to Moses that he demonstrated extraordinary courage and endurance. He exerted himself untiringly in leading the Israelites out of Egypt to the Promised Land. Yet, Moses did not experience the fulfillment of God’s promise in his lifetime. This was because earlier he and Aaron, exasperated by the people’s rebelliousness,“acted undutifully toward [God] in the middle of the sons of Israel at the waters of Meribah.”(Deut. 32:51, 52) Did Moses become despondent or resentful? No. He pronounced a blessing on the people and concluded with these words:“Happy you are, O Israel! Who is there like you, a people enjoying salvation in Jehovah, the shield of your help, and the One who is your eminent sword?”—Deut. 33:29.(Examining the Scriptures Daily 2013)

Romans 13:1-7

You bad mouth the New World Bible all the time, but look at this

1- ESV “Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.

1-NWT Let every soul be in subjection to the superior authorities, for there is no authority except by God; the existing authorities stand placed in their relative positions by God.

2- ESV Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.

2-NWT Therefore he who opposes the authority has taken a stand against the arrangement of God; those who have taken a stand against it will receive judgment to themselves.

3- ESV For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and he will commend you.

3-NWT For those ruling are an object of fear, not to the good deed, but to the bad. Do you, then, want to have no fear of the authority? Keep doing good, and you will have praise from it;

4 ESV For he is God's servant to do you good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword for nothing. He is God's servant, an agent of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer.

4-NWT for it is God’s minister to you for your good. But if you are doing what is bad, be in fear: for it is not without purpose that it bears the sword; for it is God’s minister, an avenger to express wrath upon the one practicing what is bad.

5- ESV Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also because of conscience.

5 NWT There is therefore compelling reason for YOU people to be in subjection, not only on account of that wrath but also on account of [YOUR] conscience.

6 ESV This is also why you pay taxes, for the authorities are God's servants, who give their full time to governing.

6 NWT For that is why YOU are also paying taxes; for they are God’s public servants constantly serving this very purpose.

7 ESV Give everyone what you owe him: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.”

7 NWT Render to all their dues, to him who [calls for] the tax, the tax; to him who [calls for] the tribute, the tribute; to him who [calls for] fear, such fear; to him who [calls for] honor, such honor.

Paul did not tell them, though, to be in absolute subjection with no regard for God, God’s Word and their Christian conscience.

They knew that Jesus had worshiped only Jehovah, that Jesus had refused to let the people make him king and that he had told Peter to put away his sword. They conscientiously adhered to their Master’s lead.

The book On the Road to Civilization—A World History (by Heckel and Sigman, pages 237, 238) reports:“Christians refused to share certain duties of Roman citizens. The Christians ... felt it a violation of their faith to enter military service. They would not hold political office. They would not worship the emperor.”

Regarding political and military controversies of their day, Jesus’ disciples maintained strict neutrality. In the year 66 C.E. the Jews of the Roman province of Judea revolted against Caesar. The Roman army quickly surrounded Jerusalem.

What did Christians in the city do?

They remembered Jesus’ counsel to stay neutral and to get out from between the warring armies. When the Roman army temporarily withdrew, the Christians seized the opportunity and fled across the Jordan River into the mountainous region of Pella.(Luke 21:20-24)

In their neutrality they served as a faithful pattern for later Christians.

Does the historical record show that any group in this “time of the end,” since 1914 C.E., has pursued a course of Christian neutrality in imitation of those early Christians?

Yes, Jehovah’s Witnesses have done so.

In all the earth they have kept busy preaching that God’s Kingdom is the only means by which peace, prosperity and lasting happiness are possible for lovers of righteousness in all the earth.(Matt. 24:14)

But with regard to controversies among the nations, they have maintained strict neutrality.

I warned you about doing drugs.

Luke 21:20-24 says nothing like your claim of it.

Typical zombie cult member. You believe whatever you are told. No questions asked.
