Her fate and her wealth are on my mind because of the auction, scheduled for today , at which the U.S. Marshals Service is slated to sell off hundreds of thousands of dollars' worth of property seized from her and her husband, the infamous Bernie.

On one hand, "Jewish American Princess" is just an idiomatic phrase, particular apt here since the Madoff's are Jewish. On the other hand, it is historically accurate to describe Jews as persecuted, i.e., victims. In this case, however, my own opinion is that she knew what her husband was doing.
