Attention fathers:
Are you being denied the right to see your children?

If there is a father who is willing to be a part of their child's life, then let him. Don't keep him away from his children because of the anger or rage you may have against him. It's wrong and its damaging to the children also. That's being selfish and stupid.

The system needs to be changed!!!
I just started a petition on the White House petitions site, We the
People. Will you sign it? http://wh.gov/l13zV
Who I am:
My name is David Rotsch and I'm 34 years old. I'm an honor graduate from Punxsutawney Area High School, where I took advanced placement and academic classes all while lettering 6 times in 3 different varsity sports. I was a member of the Pennsylvania Army National Guard for 8 years and served 1 year of active duty in Iraq as a Military Policeman. I'm a graduate of Triangle Tech, where I earned a Specialized Associates degree in Carpentry and Construction Technology all while working full time and maintaining a 4.0 GPA and perfect classroom attendance. I have coached varsity football in two local high schools and I have volunteered to help coach youth wrestling for 4 years, tee ball for 2 years and youth football for 3 years. I don't smoke, I don't chew, I don't do drugs. I drink so rarely, that I'd be more inclined to say I don't drink as opposed to saying I do. I have no criminal record, I had a top secret military clearance and I have been cleared by the state police to work with children and adults with special needs. I am employed full time and live in a very nice house with a large yard. I missed 3 days of work last year due to illness and 12 days of work to be able to volunteer at my children's pre-school. I have my own vehicle and every household item I need or could want. I live with my girlfriend of over 2 years, who herself is a certified elementary education teacher.
Who I am not:
I am not a deadbeat Dad. I stayed with a wife I did not like, because I was afraid to lose my kids. When my kids Mom walked out on me, I thanked God; however I knew a storm was coming.
The conclusion:
The system is flawed and needs changed. We hear about equality, affirmative action and the American with Disabilities Act; however we hear nothing of gender bias in divorce and custody cases. I hear all the time that's just the way it is or everyone believes a child should be raised by their Mother. Why; when we live in an era of equal rights should there be such a disparity towards a Father raising his children? If you believe a change is needed not just towards a Father's rights, but towards the essential rights of the children to be raised by the best suited, most devoted parent; be it male or female!
