Anyone following this story, should take note that although Gen Pace has personal views on the issue of homosexuality, he still follows the don't ask don't tell law and endorses it. This is the sign of a superb officer. He is choosing a much wiser course than the bunch of whiners who want to defy the law or pick and choose which rules they want to follow and which ones they dont.
