The intended family model revolves around the parent being the caretaker, mentor, as well as the educator. The fact that these things have been outsourced is a sign of a weak culture full of fools. It doesn't matter if millions of people condone it.

Children need a strict system of beliefs based on handed down wisdom, as well as common sense and careful future consideration. The concept of "evolving" is irrelevant to the slow growth of a single human. And it is being used to promote outsourcing. I condemn all institutions because they are out for profit. Not the well being of a single human unless it is SELF.

While it is a reality that there are a number of parents out there that are unsuitable for being the kind of parent they should be. That doesn't change what I already stated above. We should be solving our problems by educating parents, not children. The parents MUST take on that role. It must occur within the boundaries of a home. And there is a large reason why it is important. Whether you define that importance using the Holy Bible, or history, it has already been proven time and again that every child needs a full time mentor. Imagine a little asian kid following his grandpa around daily to observe and learn about life. This is parenting. But it is a far cry from tossing your kid into a building 40 hours a week, getting contradicted and corrupted by endless variable beliefs and notions that leave them bewildered and ultimately in contempt of what mom or dad says.

You end up with a weak minded child who grows into a compliant adult who basically becomes vulnerable to the corruption of government.

Let us make our children grow wise. Be wise yourself. And then your children will be. Be a fool. And you will raise a fool. Homeschool your kids. That is what normal truly is.

Reviving an ancient thread –
Absolutely correct! Whether it's basic values of right and wrong, sex education, whatever you're talking about, it should be done at home within the home and by the parents! More and more these things are being 'outsourced'– an excellent term for it – to the public school system. And then people complain about 'the government is raising our children!' well if that's true, it's because people wanted it that way by asking the government [schools] to do their job for them.

Home school?

Would you want your Mom and Dad teaching you chemistry? Physics? A foreign language? Calculus? World and American history?

My Mom and Dad taught me how to cook, budget my money and do laundry. They let the professionals teach the hard stuff.
