How Hispanics (Afro-Latinos included) have escape hatches in regards to race.------

There are Hispanic (Afro-Latinos included) youths who dress in hip hop clothing.

But, once these Hispanic (Afro-Latinos included) youths take off their hip hop clothing & put on other clothing attire.------- They are not bound by the very negative stereotypes & stigmas which are associated with African Americans (Descendants of black American slaves).

Primarily because of these reasons.------

Hispanics (Afro-Latinos included) are another one of the United States PREFERED "minorities". Hispanics (Afro-Latinos included) are WAY prefered. OVER African Americans (Descendants of black American slaves).

Hispanics (Afro-Latinos included) are being elevated & advanced in the United States. AT THE EXPENSE OF African Americans (Descendants of black American slaves).

Here is a link which shows a very small aspect of this dynamic at work.--------

http://www.city-journal.org/2008/18_1_blacks_... .

Hispanics (Afro-Latinos included) are viewed as being a racial buffer class. AGAINST African Americans (Descendants of black American slaves).

Hispanics (Afro-Latinos included) are being given "Honorary White Status" in the United States.

You said "there are way more productive black people in this country than mexicans".-------

Totally not true.

You said "by the way puerto ricans are the real latinos".-------

Well, any American who has ancestral roots from a Spanish speaking nation, how can they classify according to race with the United States federal government?------ As Hispanic. Or, as White.

How Americans classify according to race with the federal government matters.

I see your angle here.

True, many Puerto Ricans & African Americans (Descendants of black American slaves) party together. Enjoy R & b & hip hop music.

But, these areas are the social realm. These areas do not pertain to economics nor the racial politics in the United States.

Puerto Ricans do not classify as black nor as African American with the federal government.

White Puerto Ricans classify as Hispanic. Or, as White.

Mulatto Puerto Ricans classify as Hispanic.

Black Puerto Ricans classify as Hispanic.

How Americans classify with the federal government matters.

You said "their are alot less mexicans that have grsduated college and even enrolled in college".---------

More African Americans (Descendants of black American slaves) have enrolled in college than Mexicans. No surprise, since most Mexicans in the United States have ancestral ties to this nation since 1985.

Within the last decade, there has been a larger number of African Americans attending colleges. But, most of them drop out of college.

As for the African Americans who do graduate, their degrees are in the lower tier of liberal arts.

So, these degrees carry very little weight in the United States.

Liberal arts degrees don't carry much weight. Very ill suited for Americas job market in the present day & for the future.

To prevent another Populist revolt of poor white and black farmers after 1896, the Bourbons (with the indispensable help of the Northern Democrats and the Republican party) passed laws and constitutional amendments disenfranchising black and poor white voters, which had the obvious advantage of depriving their enemies of the ballot. After that, they were able to pass, in the following decades, an elaborate legal system of racial segregation that made cooperation between blacks and whites a virtual crime. They did this not because the white majority was virulently racist but because, politically speaking, it was not racist enough. Without a formal, institutionalized racial system, as the Bourbons well knew, racism in the white counties would languish ... Woven by law into the fabric of daily life, kept alive and perpetually incited ... racism has been used by the Bourbons as their chief instrument of political control.

A lot of guys really supported that whole concept that, you know, if they don't speak English and they have darker skin, they're not as human as us, so we can do what we want. It's like you feel like, I don't know, if you're a caveman.

You said "they come here and we let them do our dirty work in other words our dead end below minimum wage jobs".--------

True. But, the Mexicans who are mainly doing these type of jobs are the newly arrived undocumented Mexicans.

You said "and pat yall on the head and they began to think they r better than blacks because the white man feeds him out of his hands and whistles at him to work n the trenches or a ditch all day".-------

No, these are not the reasons why Mexicans think they are better than African Americans (Descendants of black American slaves).

The Veil is Lifted, The Gloves Are Off
by Elaine Brower
www.opednews.com , July15, 2010

I thought, in my naiveté, that this country stood for something good, and protected freedom of speech, the rights of people of color to live and work without the threat of police oppression, and most of all, it was a nation that was accepting and tolerant of those who came here from all over the world to experience the "American dream."

What a bunch of crap. It has always been a bad system. Sometimes there would be breakthroughs in civil rights, or women's rights, but those where aberrations. Not the norm. The system would again rise up to take it all away, because it wasn't meant to be fair and just for all people, only those who are the elite in this society.

quotation
This sort of lunatic paranoia -- touched with populism, nativism, racism, and anti-intellectualism -- has long been a feature of the fringe, especially during times of economic bewilderment. What is different now is the evolution of a new political organism, with paranoia as its animating principle. The town-meeting shouters may be the organism's hands and feet, but its heart -- also, Heaven help us, its brain -- is a "conservative" media alliance built around talk radio and cable television, especially Fox News. The protesters do not look to politicians for leadership. They look to niche media figures like Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, Michael Savage, and their scores of clones behind local and national microphones.

Solitary Confinement: Torture in the U.S.
by Bonnie Kerness

Just as slavery had economic and political functions, so do prisons. People who are perceived as economic liabilities have been turned into a major economic asset. The young male of color who is worth less than nothing in this current economy suddenly generates between 30 and 60 thousand dollars a year in the "justice" system. It is not accidental that the technological revolution has been accompanied by the largest explosion of prison building in the history of the world. Control units, supermax prisons, and maxi-maxi prisons are the latest form of this growth. The politics of the criminal justice system - the politics of the police, the politics of the courts, the politics of the prison, and the politics of the death penalty - is a manifestation of racism and classism.

If you don't think there is racism in America, let me just say: Tea Party equals anti-black president. Period. It is a racist movement. There is an enormous resentment among many in America about having a black president.

__________

The $7.00 an hour wage is representative of newly arrived Mexicans.

Mexicans & other Hispanics (Afro-Latinos included) don't have any "rude awakening".

Since Hispanics (Afro-Latinos included) are the United States numerically dominant "minority". By far.

Hispanics (Afro-Latinos included) don't have the critical mass numbers throughout the United States yet. But, in years to come, they will.

Hispanics (Afro-Latinos included) will then have the "Honorary Minority Status" & the "Preferential Minority Status" with the federal government. For aid, jobs, government contracts, set asides, housing, health care & education.

Hispanics (Afro-Latinos included) will be totally usurping, undercutting, phasing out & displacing African Americans (Descendants of black American slaves) in the United States.

Making most African Americans (Descendants of black American slaves) a PERMANENT underclass in this nation. This is just for starts.

In years to come, these will be the dominant groups in the United States.-------

1. Non Hispanic Whites.

2. Hispanics.

Martin Luther King, Jr.

We must rapidly begin the shift from a "thing"-oriented society to a "person"-oriented society. When machines and computers, profit motives and property rights are considered more important than people, the giant triplets of racism, materialism and militarism are incapable to being conquered.

sonny, you addressed several posts to me, I responded back to you. Whenever any poster addresses posts to me, I'll respond back to them.

I was pointing out several facets of the group dynamics, racial dynamics & racial politics in the United States (US).

Reality is that race MATTERS. Race has always mattered & it always will matter.

Hispanics (Afro-Latinos included) are being elevated & advanced in the US. AT THE EXPENSE OF African Americans (Descendants of black American slaves).

Hispanics (Afro-Latinos included) are being given "Honorary White Status" in the US.

Blacks who have ancestral roots from the Anglophone, French / Creole speaking Caribbean black nations & from Africa are being given a form of "Pseudo Honorary White Status" in ths nation.

Blacks who have ancestral roots from the Anglophone, French / Creole speaking Caribbean black nations & from Africa are being elevated & advanced in the US. AT THE EXPENSE OF African Americans (Descendants of black American slaves).

If you are unaware of what is happening, I can list many examples which show this.

This nation does. The United States (US) is the greatest nation in the world.

You said "the rights of people of color to live and work without the threat of police oppression".-------

American police don't go around just "harrassing" people of color for the heck of it.

One cannot lump the United States "minorities" in the same boat.

This is why.------

Asians are one of the United States prefered "minorities". Asians are WAY prefered. OVER African Americans (Descendants of black American slaves).

Asians have been known as being (Still are) this nations "Model Minority".

Asians have had (Still do) "Honorary White Status" in the US.

Hispanics (Afro-Latinos included) are another one of the US prefered "minorities". Hispanics (Afro-Latinos included) are WAY prefered. OVER African Americans (Descendants of black American slaves).

The United States is.

Which show this. Examples.-------

1. Mid / late 1964.------

When Democrat & Republican politicians in the House & Senate were crafting the Immigration and Nationality Act.

The Immigration and Nationality Act VERY much had racial overtones.

This is why.------

1964 was a year which was at the height of the 1960s African American Civil Rights Movement.

The Immigration and Nationality Act was crafted & passed (Passed in 1965) to bring immigrants of color into the United States. So that these immigrants of color could fill jobs in this nation. IN PLACE OF African Americans (Descendants of black American slaves).

This would put pressure, tension & strain on the African American "community". This would put pressure, tension & strain on the African American family unit.

This took A LOT of momentum out of the 1960s African American Civil Rights Movement.

That, years down the road, that foreign born immigrants of color would totally usurp, undercut, phase out & displace most African Americans in this nation.

Making most African Americans (Descendants of black American slaves) a PERMANENT underclass in the United States.

This is just for starts.

You said "sometimes there would be breakthroughs in civil rights, or women's rights".------

True.

You said "it wasn't meant to be fair and just for all people".------

Well, the United States (US) is a capitalist nation. In capitalist systems, not everyone is on the same level. Not everyone is of equal capability or capacity. The same dynamic exists in other capitalist systems like South Korea, Singapore, Taiwan & Japan.

Which show this. Examples.------

A 17 year old youth who just graduated from high school is not on the same level as a president or a vice president of a major bank.

The Democratic Parties goals & objectives is NOT to give people a handup. It is to give them a handout. The Democrats want to see people totally dependent. Not self sufficient, not self reliant, not capable, not competent & not responsible.

The Democrats want to see this because this traps people in totally deadend & hopeless situations. This makes people totally dependent upon the Democratic Party.

The Republican Parties platform, goals & objectives are for helping people who are DESERVING of help. Up to a certain extent. Especially to help the working poor. Not a handout. To give people a handup.

To teach people discipline, accountability, responsibility, saving up their money & investing their money wisely.

The Republican Party goals & objectives are to teach people to be totally self reliant, self sufficient, independent, competent, capable & responsible.
