Bless the Irishman
Luck of the Irish?

My ancestors are Irish and I’m a United States to boot, so I know a thing or two about the ‘Luck of the Irish’. But ‘luck’ just never cut it for me. Luck always seemed to be something that is completely random. Something that just happened to you out of the blue.

But I happen to believe we have more control over our fate. Our choices determine what comes our way, not luck.

So I prefer to say “Good Fortune” these days, as a way to wish someone well. Fortune, to me, is something much more substantial, something based on reward and merit for one’s actions. Not some random happenstance based on being at the right cosmic spot at the right cosmic time

Over the past several years, Larry, John Paul, Terry, and Don have had angelic visitations concerning the times we are living in. On separate occasions, all of them were told (in similar language) that this nation is entering a season of unprecedented change and that we are facing uncharted waters on a global scale. Each of them was given specific insight into the enormous shifts that are and will occur on a cultural, economic, political, geophysical, atmospheric, and spiritual level.

Taking care of your books can provide a lifetime of joy.
Unless you live in the middle of the dessert where temperatures are ideal for your treasured books, you are probably no stranger to mold and mildew through the course of the books life. You have taken the time to create a personal library now take the time to prevent and eliminate mold and mildew from your books to ensure a longer life.

Instructions

1. Prevention

Prevent mold before it starts. Prevention is the first step to elimination. Warmth and moisture combined causes mold to grow. You can control the two with a humidifier. Humidifiers can be costly, but there are other products to help eliminate the problem.

Purchase DampRid. DampRid is a calcium chloride product that can be found in most household stores. Put it in plastic containers around your books and it will draw out the moisture in the air. When the plastic container starts to fill with water, empty and start new.
Use silica gel. If DampRid is unavailable in your area, try silica gel. The gel comes in bead form, making it easy to place in shallow containers. They also can be found in small packets in some products you buy to keep it moisture free. Save these packets and use them to prevent moisture on your books. Silica gel beads can be purchased at most hobby stores. Silica is reusable. Once they starts to fill with water, you can dry them out in your oven.

Check your air conditioners to make sure they are in proper working order. Check the vents for mold and change the filters regularly. Air circulation is an important factor in preventing mold and mildew. Make sure books on shelves have room to breathe. Use fans to help keep the air circulated.

Remove plants. Plants are pretty but they are not book friendly. The damp soil required by plants, along with the containers they grow in, bring moisture into the air, which can promote mildew and mold growth. If you like the look if plants, use fake ones.

2. Elimination and Treatment

Move the mold and mildewed book to a well-ventilated area. Close off the room to prevent the spores from spreading. Stand the books upright on their spines with the pages spread to allow them to dry. Let them dry completely so that the mold and mildew will become powdery.

Once the books are dry you can use a vacuum cleaner to remove as much of the powdery inactive mold spores as possible. For best results, use a brush attachment or a hose with cheesecloth attached to the end. This will guard against the suction causing too much page damage. You can also use an electrostatic duster to brush away the powder if you are afraid of damaging more fragile books, but you will need to vacuum the area when you are done. Move slowly and take care.

Wipe the covers with a solution of ethyl alcohol and a bit of water. Use a cotton swab to lightly wipe the outside of the book cover. This will act as a mild solvent to remove some of the staining. Take care to not wet the area too much. When working with older books, test the alcohol in a small area since dyes used years ago were not colorfast. You can still use the alcohol, but dab, do not wipe.

Fan the book pages and look for mildew and mold inside. These mold and mildew stains can be removed just as the stains on the covers. Use a cotton swab to gently dab the pages using caution to not over-saturate the pages. For tougher stains, allow to dry completely before repeating. Bleach is not recommended because it will deteriorate the pages.

Wipe down shelves with commercial disinfectant and allow them to dry. Once the shelves and books are cleaned and dried, the books can be returned to their homes.

o 1
Ask your doctor to perform an allergy test. This is simple test done on the skin to determine which allergens you are sensitive to. If you happen to have a mold allergy, it will be revealed by the test.
o 2
Next, do a cursory inspection of your home for mold and mildew growth. Black mold, commonly found in basements, bathrooms, and other moist areas, is a leading cause of mold sickness. It looks like greasy black streaks.
o 3
If you can't see or smell any mold, have a professional mold inspector visit your home to check your air ducts and other hard to reach places. Mold can grow out of sight in your ventilation system, but blow spores into your air.
o 4
Report your findings to your doctor so he or she can properly treat you. If you have typical mold sickness symptoms, a positive allergy test, and mold in your home, then you very likely have a mold illness.
o 5
Be sure to remove the mold from your home, as long term exposure can lead to more serious conditions. there are many basement mold removal systems and companies that will come and clean your home. This will help you recover and keep you and your family from getting mold sickness in the future
Clean any visible mold on hard surfaces such as tile with a mixture of 1 part bleach to 8 parts water. Spray the area down thoroughly, let it sit for a few minutes, and then wipe the mold away with a rag or sponge.
• 4
Inspect your home for any mold that is not immediately visible. The best place to start is in areas that have had unintentional water exposure, or areas that are routinely damp. Check walls, carpets and other areas with a screwdriver or utility knife. If you prod a wall with a screwdriver and there is decay or a decidedly “mushy” texture, there is likely mold. Lift the corner of the carpet with a utility knife to see if there's mold on the floor. Use your sense of smell as well; if an area smells musty or like mildew, there is probably mold.
• 5
Seal off the room by covering doorways with plastic sheeting, and turn off your air conditioner or heater. Seal off any vents with plastic sheeting and place a box fan in a window for ventilation. In this case, you do not want to go with a brand new or overly expensive fan -- you’ll have to toss it once you’re done killing the mold.
• 6
Remove any moldy items that you cannot clean, including pillows, drapes, blankets and clothing. Bag these items in heavy-duty contractor bags and remove them from the home.
• 7
Use a screwdriver or the end of a hammer to cut into damaged drywall, noting the location of any wires. Turn off the electricity and remove all of the contaminated drywall with a reciprocating saw while constantly spraying the drywall with water, preferably from a hose. This will keep the spores from becoming airborne and spreading. Cut outside of the infected area to ensure you get everything. Turning off the electricity will shut down the box fan, so work quickly and take frequent breaks so you aren’t exposed to a large amount of spores.
• 8
Rip out any insulation that was behind the drywall you removed. Even if there’s no visible mold, if the mold was on the drywall, there are probably spores in the insulation.
• 9
Rip up moldy carpet with a utility knife, cutting the carpet and the padding into manageable pieces. As with the drywall, spray the carpet as you work to prevent spores from spreading. For hardwood floors, use a pry bar to remove any affected boards.

• 10
Bag moldy drywall, insulation, carpet and carpet padding in heavy-duty contractor bags and place them outside.
• 11
Clean any remaining solid surfaces with the bleach and water mixture, using a stiff brush to scrub everything down. Rinse the area with clean water and dry it thoroughly. Once you’re finished, you can remove the plastic sheeting and dispose of the box fan in the window.
• 12
Keep windows and doors open for as long as possible to air the space out and get rid of any lingering mold smell.
• 13
Repair any causes of excess water buildup in your home to prevent a recurrence of the mold problem, and then move on to patching and replacing anything you had to remove.
• Fill a spray bottle with water and add the baking soda to it. Shake the bottle to mix the ingredients.
Spray the solution onto a moldy or mildewed surface. Scrub the surface thoroughly with the scrub brush, then rinse the area with clean water to remove any remaining mold or mildew residue. The baking soda can kill mold and remove its musty odor. For a persistent odor, proceed to the next step.
• 4
Pour the distilled vinegar into another spray bottle. Spray the undiluted vinegar on the moldy surface and allow it to remain there for at least 1 hour.
• 5
Rinse the vinegar from the area with clean water and let the surface dry. Any lingering vinegar smell should go away in several hours.
• 6
Keep surfaces--such as bathroom tiles, tiled floors and tubs--free from mold and its odor by spraying them on a weekly basis with undiluted vinegar and leaving it on these areas to dry completely.

Instructions
1.
o 1
Do a routine check for mold and mildew. Especially during the rainy or wet season, visit all the rooms, the attic and the basement regularly to check for leaks, moisture buildup or signs of mold and mildew. Use a strong flashlight to check corners and crevices, as well as folds in drapes and curtains.
o 2
Determine and remedy the cause of leaks and moisture buildup. Patch up cracks, leaky roofs and windows, and other sources of water and moisture. Install additional insulation if necessary. If poor ventilation contributes to the problem, consider using air conditioners, dehumidifiers and exhaust fans.
o 3
Vacuum the molds off the affected surface. Use the vacuum cleaner's brush attachment or scrub the area with a stiff brush to remove as much of the growth as possible.
o 4
Mop, sponge or spray the affected surface with a solution of half a cup of chlorine bleach to two gallons of water, and rinse with fresh water. Dry the area thoroughly.
o 5
Paint affected and stained walls and floors with mold-resistant paint.
o 6
Air affected furnishings, furniture and upholstery outdoors and expose to the sun if possible.
o 7
Wash affected or stained fabric with hot water and laundry bleach, being careful to follow the item's washing instructions.
o 8
Remember, the best way to prevent mold and mildew is to always keep the house clean, dry and well-ventilated.

..." Let me tell you that without prophets and prophetic ministry there will be no open heavens, no power and no glory in the Church.

Whether you consider yourself a prophetic person or a prophet, both of which are in process, you are still a gatekeeper of Heaven that has the grace to open the way for others to have a living encounter with God.

In simple terms, those who know the secret place with God are prophetic whether they call it that or not. It is not how we title ourselves, no badges are needed. It is the substance of Christ that God is after.

There are many prophets in the earth that are not known, that God respects as such. The bottom line is that we all need to know how to connect with God in the secret place if we are to have any impact while on the earth. Just as Jesus said, "The Son can do nothing apart from the Father." It is the same with us.

Through simple honor, we receive reward from God and God Himself. Learn to see a person by the Spirit, rather than through natural eyes. If you have rejected the prophetic or prophets in any way I would encourage you to repent, changing direction, so that your life does not become a hinderance in God's purposes, but rather be a vessel of honor prepared for noble uses for the Kingdom of God.

God does not want His people to be ignorant of how He speaks. The prophetic, as it is with all the promises of God, and other important Biblical topics should not be ignored. As we grow in understanding the call to live close to God in this way, we will experience a greater clarity in our spiritual senses. Clearly, Jesus is "The Son of God" before anything else. But He is very much associated with the prophetic life. He connected Himself and associated Himself with the prophets. Can we?

God’s Golden Oil

Zechariah 4:12-14
“And I further answered and said to him,“What are these two olive branches that drip into the receptacles of the two gold pipes from which the golden oil drains?”
Then he answered me and said,“Do you not know what these are?” And I said,“No, my lord.” So he said,“These are the two anointed ones, who stand beside the Lord of the whole earth.”

With this there will be an amazing manifestation of God’s golden oil. This golden oil represents purity and power being released by the Holy Spirit in freshness. This is oil is with cost and will be there for those willing to follow after the Spirit. I had an encounter recently where this oil was manifested in the atmosphere. It was not only upon the hands dripping down, but in the air where it made the very air seem golden. This is anointing of the Spirit that will cause amazing works of the Spirit to take place. Years ago a friend of mine had an encounter with God where the Lord showed Him that “just one drop of His golden oil” could do wonders! Now we are looking at the entire atmospheres being permeated with this glorious golden oil!

Fresh Expressions of the Tabernacle of David

Acts 15:16
“After this I will return And will rebuild the tabernacle of David, which has fallen down; I will rebuild its ruins, And I will set it up.”

There is going to be a restoration of the tabernacle of David, the passionate and extravagant expression of worship, in new places. It will begin with the hearts of a younger generation being ignited with His Presence. This will be expressed in meetings that are specifically designed to bring people, especially the younger, together to seek the Lord in worship and prayer. God has a purpose in working with each generation. God is laying the foundation for the next upcoming generation as He speaks into the hearts of the young and hungry. This will be a great key to bring atmospheric invasions of God’s glory into regions.

The office of the prophet must never be vacant in the Earth, for it is this office that syncs the Body with what our King is saying, and where the word of a king is there is power (Eccl. 8:4).The prophet then becomes a power source for the Body. Every ministry gift and every gift of the spirit is a power source. The purpose of the Prophet is to stand as the mouth of God in the Earth.

The prophet then becomes a power source for the Body. Every ministry gift and every gift of the spirit is a power source. They are particular engines that drive certain parts of the Body, and when all of these gifts are in sync, the Body progresses and advances in the same direction. This is what Paul was dealing with in the first book to the church at Corinth. Because of their immaturity, there were divisions. So even though there was the abundance of gifts, since there were divisions, the Body still was not advancing properly. This is very important, even in the growth and maturity of a local church or a city house. When all of the gifts are aligned in order (the purpose of apostolic ministry) then the Body can advance in a region.

The prophet is a very significant gift that must not be muzzled in the House of God. Deut. 25:4 Thou shalt not muzzle the ox when he treadeth out the corn. This is a very important principle. The ox is a workman. The oxen would be yoked together, and as they would begin to tread upon the threshing floor, they would get hungry, so they were free to eat from the ground they were treading upon. Some people would get greedy and muzzle the ox so that the ox could not enjoy any of the corn, and their harvest would be more plentiful. This would make the ox tired by reason of his hunger, which would result in a slower, weaker ox that would have to work twice as hard and twice the time to do the job. Prophets must be honored. prophets must not be muzzled in the House of God. Prophets, you must speak.
There are certain atmospheres that cultivate prophets. The atmosphere of faith activates gifts and releases a surge of power to prophesy. Romans 12:6 says that we prophesy according to the proportion of our faith. So as we create an atmosphere of corporate faith, prophets begin to grow in the house. Where there are no prophets the heavens are usually stale and brass. Now as prophets begin to arise in the Earth, there must be fields for them to feed from. Every ministry gifts has a particular diet. These diets are determine by the journey before them. Diets determine Destiny. So prophets must feed on a certain caliber of food.

Elijah commanded that the Heavens would shut up and yield no rain. He had prophetic power to make the Heavens barren, to close the womb of the Heavens for 3 years. Now when he commanded the Heavens to yield no rain, the Lord told him to go east. East is the direction of prophets. East is the place of revelation. The sun rises in the East. This represents the dawning of a new day, an allotment of light and revelation. So Elijah goes to the east. As prophetic people, we must dwell in the East. This is where Adam lived. The scripture says that God planted a Garden eastward in Eden, and it is there that he placed the man (Gen 2:7-8). Now when Elijah goes to the east, he hides by the brook and God commands the raven to feed him. Now ravens are birds. They are fowls of the air, they are symbols of high level revelation. The ravens brought him bread and flesh in the morning and the evening. The morning are new days, the beginning of new eras and the nights are times of rest and ending. This is transition. Prophets must be fed during times of transition. When the old testament was transitioning into the new, John was eating locust and wild honey. Prophets must eat, and there diet must be prepared to give them strength. Daniel couldn’t eat what everyone else was eating, he had a specific diet. Now 1 Kings 17:6 says that he drank from the brook. A brook is a small fresh water stream of water with a distinct current. There are currents in the Earth (called trends) and currents in the Heavens (tunnels of revelation that when accessed are used to move us quickly into areas of knowledge and action.. but thats a different subject). Now Elijah literally, with a combination of no rain and a dry climate, drinks this brook dry. This is the appetite of the prophet.

Prophets have a king’s appetite for revelation. The only way that prophets can be powerful is if there is a consistent stream of revelation released in the House. We must as apostles make sure that we are nurturing the prophetic dimension in our people. This is not just for prophets. Remember that every ministry has a particular diet. And as you release that meat it nurtures that particular grace in the life of your congregation. Prophets many times find themselves in Houses that can not adequately feed them because of a traditional paradigm on anointings and giftings. This must change. So how do you feed prophets?

True Worship

The Hebraic idea of worship tends to be different from the Western idea. On more than one occasion, I have heard Dr. Douglas Wheeler say that the Hebraic idea of worship was that of "a child climbing into the lap of its father and stroking the father's face while the father stroked the child's hair.1"

The Western idea tends to see worship as something we do, i.e. raise our hands, bend our knees, cry, and connect on an emotional and spiritual level.

The Hebraic idea of worship is not something you do. It is the outward relationship resulting from the inner feelings between two individuals.
True worship from true worshipers is a life style.

We do not have relationship with God one or two days a week. We have relationship with God at all times. There is no separation between congregation, home or work.

Hebrew writers used explicit words in an effort to relate the depth of intimacy between God and His people. In fact, in Exodus 33:11 the Bible says, "And the LORD spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend." (KJV) The idea of friendship is certainly a part of the Hebrew word (rea), pronounced ray-aw, but this Hebrew word is more accurately translated as lover.

The idea is not that of the sexual relationship between a man and his lover but that of nothing being held back. For a man to have a lover in Biblical times, her veil had to be removed. At that point, all things were revealed, and there was nothing between them or held back by them.
The Hebrew word (ahav) is most often translated as love, but it is important to understand that this is two-sided love resulting from one-sided selflessness.

The idea is to take yourself out of the picture and in doing so, you are part of it. This one is hard to explain, but let me put it this way. If I love (ahav) you, then my eyes are on you only. I have no personal agenda or sense of self because you are my only desire.

It is hard to breathe, and my heart aches for you. I will try to meet your needs in your personality which can only come from my knowing you deeply, and that only comes with time.

Put another way, I come to you with only you and your needs on my mind. I do not seek anything for myself in any way. The other person will do the same. In approaching love and worship in this manner, we achieve the highest level of intimacy that can be attained by humans.

If we want to take worship to this level, then we can start by taking the words "me, myself, and I" out of our worship songs. This would be a great, first step, but you would also need to stop singing about what you want and what you will do. Worship is now. Not something we will do in the future or something we have done in the past.

Worship is a result of relationship. God is already showing His love for us in this manner, and if we respond to Him in the same way, then we obtain this level of intimacy. This approach places us in the center of the relationship as one with Him and is the purest form of Biblical worship that can be found.

You would be amazed at the move of the Spirit of God when a congregation does this. I do not mean to advocate that we throw out everything we have ever done or believed about worship, but I would ask, "Why not?" I do not suggest that the songs currently being played and sung in our congregations today are wrong or flawed in any way, and I am certainly not suggesting that they are not worship. Anything that glorifies God is, by definition, worship. What I am saying is that there are different levels. There can be no doubt that the way we worshiped God when we were nine years old is VERY different from the way we worship Him now, and I would hope that the way we worship Him now is far more intimate than the way we worshiped Him last year.

Let's examine the words of a popular worship song.

Lord I lift your name on high
Lord I love to sing your praises
I'm so glad you're in my life
I'm so glad you came to save us 2

There is no doubt in my mind that this song glorifies God, and I love it. However, it is not selfless worship because it is not a song about God. It is a song about the person singing the song. If we want to reach the level of intimacy resulting from ahav in our songs, we might want to find songs with choruses that say things like ...

There is none like you
All kings will fall down before you
All nations will serve you
You are righteous, perfect, and true

There is a complete absence of self in this chorus, and it is without a doubt the highest form of verbal praise we can achieve. We can never lose sight of the fact that this is an outward expression of an inward relationship. In other words, just singing this kind of song will not cause us to become true worshipers, but there is no doubt in my mind that as we introduce our congregations to this level of worship, the Spirit of God will flow in a way that we have rarely or perhaps never experienced before.

Shalom v'shalom (peace be multiplied upon peace to you),
