I know what you mean about foreign Blacks, and that is a relevant point. However, there are a couple of things that I'd like to point out: 1) when you see Black immigrants, and Asian ones too for that matter, you are often seeing the most enterprising people from their respective countries. For every one who comes here and opens a store, there are probably 100 back home who are doing nothing with their lives...judging these respective nationalities by their best members would be like judging American Blacks by the folks you would find in the Ladera Heights section of LA or the south suburbs of Atlana; 2) Blacks have *never* been popular in this country...I don't think that many Blacks were, e.g., begging for welfare checks and mugging White people 90 years ago...do you think that Blacks were well-liked in America 90 years ago?
