Doctor REALITY ----- Your question.---- "Has racism declined in America?".----
In regards to "no".---- Racism HASN'T declined for African Americans (Descendants of black American slaves).
In regards to African Americans being on the receiving end. Also, in regards to African Americans perpetrating racism onto others.
In the United States, which groups have the largest degree of division & polarization?---- African Americans (Descendants of black American slaves) & White-Americans. By a very, very long stretch.
The divide between African Americans & White-Americans goes much, much farther than just differences of race &/or skin color.
The divide entails very, very deep divisions regarding ideology & class.
Very deep divisions in regards to culture, behavior, actions & attitudes.
Very deep divisions in regards to ways of talking, ways of acting & ways of reacting.
Just glancing over Topix Top Stories & African American forums.---- Shows that there are very, very deep divisions between African Americans & White-Americans in the United States.
The divisions & polarization are further compounded by differences in ideology & in class.
An area such as Beverly Hills compared to Watts.---- The differences between Beverly Hills compared to Watts entails way more than just differences in race &/or skin color.
The differences entail class, behavior, actions & attitudes.
African Americans & White-Americans will never be close in the United States. The interests of African Americans (Descendants of black American slaves) & White-Americans are not in harmony in this nation.
They will become even more discordant as time passes.

Doctor, your 3 points above.---- You are absolutely correct.
But (With all due respect), you are omitting many VERY critical factors regarding race relations.
Here they are.----
Race relations entail WAY more than an individuals personal dealings with another individual.
Race relations entail Identity Politics.
Race relations entail group dynamics, racial dynamics & racial politics.
The United States has Identity Politics.
The United States has group dynamics, racial dynamics & racial politics.
These are the areas where the divisions & conflicts are.
In the United States, race cannot be transcended.
Each & every one of the United States respective racial groups has their own goals, objectives & interests. Most of all, their own interests.
This will remain the case into the future.
Again, in this nation, race cannot be transcended.

Maybe not outright "racism". But, prejudice is natural. Everyone is prejudiced to some degree.
Yes, Jesus' actions in the beatitudes did show that Jesus did have some prejudices.
The line between racism & prejudice is a very thin line. In many (If not most) instances, the line is crossed.
Everyone has biases & preferences.
The line between biases & racism is a thin line. In many (If not most) instances, the line is crossed.
The line between preferences & racism is a thin line. In many (If not most) instances, the line is crossed.
At the very least, everyone has prejudices, biases & preferences.
The reality of humans. The reality of the human brain.
It is what it is.
