I wanted to create a thread that people could see if this company or MLM or Pyramid is a scam or is it possible. I am going to post each day that I have any interaction with the company and what my success for this company is.
I currently am already a successful business owner and thought it would be nice not to put all my eggs in one basket.
So here it goes. I heard about FHTM from a friend she invited me to a presentation with no details. But I am open minded and thought I would at least listen. I understand that this company is MLM with products available to sell as you need so many points and people on your team to become successful. You need at least 3 people to start underneath you to make your money back. SO I am going to give it a try. I can afford the $399 and so what do I honestly have to loose but some money. You have to spend money to make money and anyone that tells you different has never been in business before. You also have to be willing to risk your fears, failure, stability, and comfort while you work towards your goals. Is this the best market to start something like this I do not know but we will find out together.
So my first presentation to FHTM was basic as mostly it was a simple overview to entice one to spend the $399 with the hopes of a future of residual income. Is it possible time will tell? I have always been successful in other peoples already established companies in sales. I am a people person but I do not start things well. They say they will help you start your company and that it is easy. Time will tell.
I am signing the form and faxing it off up the line today... More to follow

Like any other business venture education is the key, check the gov't websites and BBB, andask question ask for other contacts to ask the questions,
I know 1st hand about this company, I asked many questions of the presenters and the other reps, I talked to the national sales manger, he answered my questions and directed me to find more info....they come right out and say this is not for everyone and do not quit your job,,the best thing to do is educate yourself and make you decision from that

This is just another pyramid scheme where you have to have a lot of people under you that get hurt for you to make ANY money. Check with your local police fraud squad before even entertaining anything like this!!
When they came to my community I called the police right away and alerted them!!

god, i can't believe how completely closed minded some people are when it comes to things like this. i haven't joined FHTM yet, but i am joining in a couple of days. i am excited to see how well i can do. i know its not going to be a piece of cake but you do have to work to make money. and for all these people who are so against pyramids, what the hell do you think your current job is?? you have the owner who makes the most profit, then he hires a couple managers who make less than him, then below the managers are a few supervisors for a few different divisions, then you have labourers and anyone in between there. so what do you call that if its not a pyramid????
the whole world is stuck in a rut, its just that most people are to proud to admit it, and too embaressed, or scared to take a risk. you can pitty me for falling for a "pyramid scheme", but in reality its me who pitties you for not being open to oppurtunity. FHTM is an accredited company with the better business bureau, so obviously its not illegal, and for you retards that are calling the cops, maybe just say, hey its not for me, but if others want to do it fine! and stop trying to control everything around you.

A friend of mine at work invited me to a FHTM meeting this week. Harmless, I thought, to go. It sounded really interesting- make quick easy money, enough to quit my job within a couple months. Flag 1- 1 sign in sheet for members, 2 from guests. Flag 2- Pep rally type presentation from those who had "made" lots of money. Flag 3- No-one could or would really answer any questions about the company's directives or corporate model. So, I did some research the following day. The BBB has given it an F rating- not so good. There are countless forums about people who have been scammed, have lost money, family, friends...is it legit? Don't know? Are any pyramid schemes legit? Just want to say- before you throw your $399.00 away for their "business liscence", do your homework. I, for one, will keep my day job. That way, I know that I will also keep my friends, family, and ethics. By the way- I already have a business liscence- I was told that it was not sufficient.???

As a matter of fact, this is a Canadian post- it seems to me that you are the one who is misplaced. What language is that you are speaking anyhow? I haven't heard it before. And by the way, what makes you think I'm white? Maybe I'm as black as you. The fact is, it seems that you are not only severely prejudiced, but pretty messed up too. Shall I send you a link to get some help?

The comments from so many that no next to nothing .

In Vancouver for example approximately 1 in 6 Vancouver City Police Officers are in FHTM including the top people in Crime Stoppers.

Attorney Generals and State senators are members of FHTM.

Former Secretary of State for South Carolina and now the Chief of Staff for the Lieutenant Governor's Office who wrote the laws for that state pertaining to home based business and network Marketing is one of the top money earners .
The wife of the CEO of Bank of America

And so many more are involved .

It would be great of everyone saw the glass half full or half empty but there are always some that can complain about things they do not understand .

Fhtm is a concept where you are paid from the advertising budget of major corporations to advertise their services and products through word of mouth advertising .

No Ponzi No Scam

Just a unique concept that does not compare to traditional business but is effective in gathering customers for these Fortune 500 companies .

Rather than you having to sell the most to make the most ;it is a unique system that requires you to find just a few customers and show some one else to do the same rather than typical business that requires you to find the most and pressure others to use things they do not need .Your efforts are paid from advertising budgets of major corporations to do a little word of mouth advertising . But some people cannot grasp the concept nor understand it because there is nothing to compare it to . It is just a marketing arm for major companies ;paying people to just gather a few customers each rather than the most because they know you can find a few but they do not know you can find the most so the money is spread differently so that anyone can achieve rather than a few.

Just to let you know, I too, went to one of those meetings. I found it interesting that most of the names on the sign-in sheets were guests. 2 to one to be exact. That sent up a red flag. I found the meeting to be nothing more than a rah rah session. I even recognized a couple there that had been soliciting at church- very poor taste. I have a business liscense, but apparently, it is not good enough for FHTM- second red flag. They make the majority of money on recruiting people- friends, family, anyone who is vulnerable. Also, you have to buy into the FHTM web site- my own is also not good enough. The products available to the Canadian market are pretty lame- ya, they may be better in the States, but regardless, it is a pyramid, nothing more, nothing less.\make your onw decision, but I suggest you do your research first, and lots of it. By the way, FHTM has received an F reating from the BBB- does that not tell you something? There are other ways to make a few extra dollars on the side. This, I'm afraid, is not it. You may make a bit in the beginning, but what happens when your pool of recruits dries up? Good luck with your decision...

there is more to it than just getting people to sign. getting others to sign up for the services and buy the products is actually more important, because you need a certain amount of points per month( which you get by using the services yourself, or getting others to) in order to get paid for all of the people signed up beneath you.
