Also it seems like you spend an awful lot of money on admin. Doesn't that bother you?
quit the foolishness. this plan isnt anything close to what is needed its ripping off the medicare system and stealing the cost of living increase because this guy is a dickless wonder without a clue who is losing the war and funding jobs for illegal aliens

Sill working for the democrats I see, while pretending to be Green.

So you theory is to do something even if it makes a bad situation worse. I always love that theory when I bring up the A R&R act an dhow it increased the deficit 250% in less than a year and we lost more jobs with it then we would have without it. I hear will we had to so something. Guess what in this case doing something was a whole lot worse then doing nothing.

I see no reason any of this has to be done in such a rush. Better they take time to work on it and present it in it entirety to the public instead of pushing through and hiding the details of a poor excuse for a health care reform bill that will make the situating a whole lot worse.

Count me in. I voted for McKinney for pres. I didn't trust Obama to change significantly from bush and so far he hasn't. When Pelosi said oversight of the crimes of the bush administration was off the table, they lost my vote. If they won't stand up against obvious criminality what will they stand for?
More and more are figuring out the the current two parties - not much difference. Yes lets keep it up.

More and more citizens are looking to us now.

SURE the US should have universal, intergalactic health care. But that's not what you're going to get. I GUARANTEEEEE IT!
What you will get is REDISTRIBUTION OF WEALTH! That is the Radical Democrat's mantra. It's got nothing to do with "health" or "care" or anything else that would do this country some good.
It is putting America into a blender and coming out with a creamy dough that fits a certain size cookie cutter.
If I work harder and longer hours than you I should earn more, RIGHT? Not in this Obama's nation. From each according to his ability; to each according to his need. Thank you Karl Hussein Marx.
If you can get up from watching Oprah, RUN don't walk for the nearest exit. America could masquerade as a democratic country as long as the government kept its hands off the rich who made it run.(You think JOBS make wealth?) If you have any interest in history (if it's available on your Kindle) the last time government stuck its foot in the soup, Roosevelt's Depression lasted ten years longer than it should have. In fact, he started a second Depression in 1937.
Those of you sucking hind tit (which is most of you) don't want to hear this. You just want your government checks to show up on time. Be patient. Pretty soon it will just be paper.
Agreed. As it stands now they are just a step below the reps in terms of being bought dogs for their corporate masters.

its time for a 3rd party folks.

I believe we’ve gone not just 8 but 16 years under the two worst Presidents of my lifetime (reaching back to Hoover) and may be due for 4 or 8 more. I’m a fiscal conservative but social libertarian and neither party wants me (except for campaign contributions). I skipped the top position on my 2008 ballot. Though I would have preferred McCain to Obama I couldn’t stand the thought of Palin in the Oval Office and with McCain’s age that seemed entirely possible.
Next, the “Palin Republicans” account for more nearly 25 than the 20% you’ve used ad nausum. Pelosi Democrats account for about 35%. Green Party advocates account for less than 0.2%…primarily reverse racists. The earth won’t last long enough for your party to account for even 5%. You may indeed elect a few to minor local offices but not to any of general interest. Even Ron Paul does manage to get elected to Congress (as a Republican).
One can find scoundrels ANYWHERE there is power to be had or money to be made…neither the Republican nor Democratic Parties are exceptions. Cynthia can hardly be held out as a paragon of virtue!
Finally, I have nothing against a third party, in fact voted for H. Ross Perot in the Bush (Sr.) vs. Clinton election and for Kinky Friedman in our last gubernatorial election. I merely ask that they show at least an ounce of intelligence. The Green Party candidates and their advocates have shown me absolutely none.
Again, put on your Dunce Cap and go sit in the corner!
Theres a lot here. So your not a bush lover, but you did vote for him twice and you voted for mccain as well. Got it!

"Green Party advocates account for less than 0.2%…primarily reverse racists." Prove the racist part. Lets see what you have.

I never said she was. What I said what its funny to hear those that would attempt to criticize - seem to never look in the mirror.

"The Green Party candidates and their advocates have shown me absolutely none.'

If you break it down to the most common denominator, the Democrats favor bigger, more controlling government and the Republicans favor bigger, more controlling business. OK........
In my most humble opinion, both can be dangerous but if I had to make a choice, I would favor big business. Yes, CEO's are making millions. Yes, there are some dirty deeds happening. But at least with business flourishing, I get a piece of that. Not millions perhaps but my piece for my hard work. I'd rather work for my piece of the action than have some government slacker tell me what I get.
Under the big government scenario, the dirty, backroom deals are still happening. People are getting millions but the working stiff like me gets nothing. So, my vote is always for business not more government.
What are you talking about.

Folks when bush created the Patriot Act - this marked the establishment of the largest government in history!

Reagan doubled our debt. Bush more then doubled our debt.

If you go by like real numbers (versus fox talking points)- the biggest spenders, the biggest creators of gov systems is history the Republican party.

You conservatives live in this dreamworld that your party is not for big government and that they watch the purse strings.

Oh buts that right, you guys also believe reagan (the sick one) was a good president.

Second, for GENERAL information (of which you are sorely lacking) wikipedia is as good as it's sorces. Do you read the citations?

As you can see the list goes on.
Your crude attempt at trying to appear more intelligent than a sack of wet hammers has once again fallen short and you still show the signs of self mental fondling akin to masturbation by quoting yourself (as if any inane rambling of yours needs to be read once let alone twice) past the point of being entertaining.
Get a clue.
I must leave now and prep for the wanton destruction of the ozone layer and a bit of bambi killing. I only regret that I cannot partake in the baby seal clubbing festivities.
I am here to help all Americans. You are here to help yourself.

Not really concerned about who is smarter then who. I was taught better by my elders.

But hey people can look at my posts and then look at yours filled with the childish name calling and then decide.

"you still show the signs of self mental fondling akin to masturbation by quoting yourself..."

Wow - going off the deep end a little - and you going to criticize others guys?

Then we should have tort reform, insurance portability that moves with the worker from one job to another, and competition across state lines to lower costs.
These are all sensible ideas not included in Obama/PelosiCare that would lower costs to the middle class.
Another reason healthcare keeps rising is the growing number of illegal aliens taking advantage of our health services without paying their fair share.
Deport everyone who does not belong in this country and medical costs for American citizens and legal residents would go down instead of up.
As it sits now obama and bush are the same. Actually this dems bill is an even bigger benefit for the insurance cartel so in fact obama is worse then bush. We are all going to get screwed even more if this bs passes.

"Deport everyone who does not belong in this country and medical costs for American citizens and legal residents would go down instead of up."

Do you really believe this? Sounds good, but you cant prove it. Also the cartel can raise their premiums regardless of how many illegals are in the country. Just because costs go down does not mean that the money "trickles" down to the common guy. Or have you been off planet for the last 8 years?

And let me guess you forgot that these corps run on profit margins, right?

The cartel has already told us that premiums are going up no matter what the dems do.

1) Our nation does not a need a tax exemption for health insurance that primarily benefits the wealthy. We should stop the tax exemption of employer-provided health benefits and replace them with a cash grant for everyone to apply to purchase their own health insurance.

2) Price gouging by non-profit hospitals has gotta stop. Its disgusting. There is no real competition between hospitals. Hospitals are huge employers; Congress is reluctant to act on them. How can competition solve this? It can't. Unfortunately, the only route to take it to take away tax exemptions from those gougers.

3) Medicare can save big bucks if it permits seniors to utilize MSAs. There are no good reasons NOT to permit seniors to have MSAs with no risk adjusting of the money allocated.
