__________Mr. Carl Worden continued:
are now working two or three service jobs. Now we see that a major empoyer of service positions is forcing their highest paid workers out while bringing in people who will do the same job for less. Walmart had been doing that for years, although not blatantly. The shameless anouncement of Circuit City is blatant, and there will be little if any backlash. The presently unemployed or underpaid employeed will happily fill those positions, and after a nice 10 week-interlude, those former Circuit City employees can apply to get hired back at the reduced wage too.
Again, this dynamic won't be changing.
This is why it is so very CRITICAL that Americans must adapt.
Americans must go on to universities & major in a field which is in demand.
Which pays well, which has very good benefits & security.
Fields such as finance, banking, health care/hospitals, engineering, architecture, education, legal services &/or consulting.
Or, fields such as retail, insurance, real estate &/or franchising.
Or, they must learn a skilled trade. Such as plumbing.
Americans must adapt.
In addition, young kids must start making very wise decisions when they are very young.
Parents must start guiding their children to make the proper, right decisions in their lives. When their children are very young. Such as what I pointed out in my previous post,#1775.
