"Homophobia is like racism and anti-Semitism and other forms of bigotry in that it seeks to dehumanize a large group of people, to deny their humanity, their dignity and personhood", she stated.[18] "This sets the stage for further repression and violence that spread all too easily to victimize the nextminority group."In a speech in November 2003 at the opening session of the 13th annual Creating Change Conference, organized by the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force, Coretta Scott King made her now famous appeal linking the Civil Rights Movement to LGBT rights: "I still hear people say that I should not be talking about the rights of lesbian and gay people.... But I hasten to remind them that Martin Luther King Jr. said,'Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.' I appeal to everyone who believes in Martin Luther King Jr.'s dream, to make room at the table of brotherhood and sisterhood for lesbian and gay people."Coretta Scott King's support of LGBT rights was strongly criticized by some African-American pastors. She called her critics "misinformed" and said that Martin Luther King's message to the world was one of equality and inclusion

Not one passage says anything about being homosexual Adam. All about possible sexual encounters. There is nothing wrong with being homosexual according too the Bible. There is nothing wrong with living with a person of the same sex.

Like many with little or no intellect. You are one of these people who thinks just posting an opposing opinion is refuting someone. You are a moron. If the bible was against women having sex with men it would say the same thing it says about homosexuality.
It would talk about putting them to death, surprise surprise the bible does not. It even says if a man lies with a man as they would with a human they should be put to death.
The meaning here unequivocal. Did you really think homosexuality is about just lusting after the same sex you idiot? No it is not you ridiculous moron.
Nope. You lose again. I can be homosexual, meaning I am sexually attracted to a person of the same sex. I can live with that person. Not one passage says there is anything wrong with that. Why are you misquoting the Bible?

Ignorance and false pride is what makes the atheists(including the homosexuals) like LULU a fool.. and that is why it is so easy to use their own logic against them.

So, when did the term "homosexual" enter the English vocabulary?

In English the word homosexual was first used in 1892 in the English translation of Krafft-Ebing's "Psychopathia sexualis" which was a reference work, in German, on sexual perversions. It first appeared in 1886 and was enormously popular, being reprinted about once a year!"( http://wiki.answers.com/Q/What_year_did_homos... )
"homosexual (adj.) 1892, in C.G. Chaddock's translation of Krafft-Ebing's "Psychopathia Sexualis," from Ger. homosexual, homosexuale (by 1880, in Gustav Jäger), from homo-, comb. form of Gk. homos "same" (see homo-(1))+ Latin-based sexual. "Homosexual" is a barbarously hybrid word, and I claim no responsibility for it. It is, however, convenient, and now widely used. "Homogenic" has been suggested as a substitute.[H. Havelock Ellis, "Studies in Psychology," 1897] Sexual inversion (1883) was an earlier clinical term for it in English. The noun is recorded by 1895. In technical use, either male or female; but in non-technical use almost always male. Slang shortened form homo first attested 1929." ( http://www.etymonline.com/index.php... )

1 Tim. 1:10, "realizing the fact that law is not made for a righteous man, but for those who are lawless and rebellious, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers 10 and immoral men and homosexuals and kidnappers and liars and perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound teaching, 11 according to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, with which I have been entrusted." Your arguments are weak and devoid of any religion based logic. Everything homosexual even slightly gay is wicked in the eyes of the LORD.
The LORD loathes gay friendly arguments like those from you and your friends.

Not really. The word homosexual comes from the end of the 19th century going into the 20th century. Adam is a foolish man. He doesn't understand that all the Biblical writings referred too a sex act. Most modern people understand the some of us are sexually attracted too the same sex. The Bible writers were ignorant of human sexuality.
