Quoting Bible verses to me is as effective and meaningful as quoting the Koran to you would be.
That's funny. I feel the same way about it.lol

Bet you won't say that when your son or daughter grows up to be gay and no kind of therapy you put into converting them will turn them heterosexual.

You are welcome. Do you know when Jesus was born?
Wasn't it on December 25th, 0000?

<quoted text> I don't think anyone has the true birth date of Jesus. Most people would assume that it is December 25 although I have heard he was born on September 29 and that December 25 was actually the day that Jesus died. No one truly knows the exact date of the birth of Jesus Christ.. Do you know?
I doubt anyone knows. Pope Benedict and other theologians use the Gospel of Luke and say it was four years before. As for the date, there are no records in existence or anything written anywhere which is plausible. One person I know suggested that astrology may hold a clue. According to her, there was some kind of cosmic convergence which drew the Magi to the area in search of Jesus. King Herod was also aware of this.

You can relax; you can't indoctrinate someone into a different sexual orientation.

Or maybe you could be talked into it and you assume everyone else is like you?

Me neither. I wasn't there, so I can't say. I booked a room at the inn several months beforehand, knowing how Bethlehem get's full with the snowbirds anyway, not to mention everyone having to show up to be taxed. I tried to warn Joseph to book ahead, but he didn't listen.

If only atheists came across less patronising maybe people of faith would listen to their perspective more openly you really can't insult someone's belief system and hope to win them over it doesn't work in any sphere of life! Atheists who want to evangelise their non belief need to have a better stratergy unless you are only just posting things to be rude

Why would atheists care? FYI there are many people who consider spiritual stuff to be something of a personal nature. They dislike evangelical busybodies intruding into their lives.

The same could be said for patronizing, obnoxious religious proselytizers too.

An idiot can scoff. Still can't explain how a perfect picture of radiation got into a 'fictional, mistranslated' book.

Smile.

I believe that was really Mithras' birthday. That's why I mentioned him in my Xmas greeting.

Einstein was Jewish, and very lucky to escape the Nazis too.
