I just LOVE your responses. I actually can't wait for you to post. You never disappoint. NEVER anything of substance, just the same tired old insults. NEVER making an argument for your demented case for God, NEVER a rationale thought regarding a point made, Always trash talk. It's almost as though you have NO argument for the defense of your miserable demon God. Come to think of it....you don't, no wonder your posts are reduced to..."You're a dirty atheist,,,nah nah nah nah na nah!!!!

Here's is apparently the limit to your vocabulary: Biogot....hateful....demented. ....sick....you'll burn in hell....I'm sure there's more, but once I see you posting nothing besides childish insults, I pass it by. I'm use to have conversations with adults....Now..isn't it way past your bedtime Jr.? Off you go, you simpleton!!!!

You are welcome.

May I return the compliment?

You are precisely why people like me are around.

It isn't the way they steal your money. It isn't the way they want to enslave me. It isn't even how they attempt to impede progress.

You are a prime example of what this kind of brainwashing has on unstable people.
You are so full of fear that you just can't wait for the world to come to an end!
See all those people that laughed at you be tortured and burn forever...

I'll bet you know THAT about the Bible... don'tcha JR?

Although you show nearly complete biblical ignorance, somewhere along the line you heard and remembered the part where you get to watch sinners suffer forever. Hell, I bet you can name the verse!

Testify!

As much as I would like to claim this much influence on you, I don't have it. The only reason people like you exist is the will to be evil and wicked. Nothing more, nothing less.
You are evil, weak-willed, and wicked and my input on this thread has NOTHING to do with it.
It is just your free will and choice to be evil and wicked. You chose to be evil and wicked because you love and embrace your ugly and vile Satan, and you hate the just and holy God.
You will be in eternal fire for your poor choice.
Blaming me for your filthy life is a cop out and just another example of how irresponsible and weak-willed you are.
It is the weak-willed who use the crutch of religion.
It is the irresponsible who blame "the devil" for their poor choices.
It is the irrational who believe in imaginary superbeings.

People like you need to watched by people like us because you have no common sense and might hurt yourself or others.

__________

— 2 Peter 1:5-9 —

For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. But whoever does not have them is nearsighted and blind, forgetting that they have been cleansed from their past sins.

__________

Our faith must go beyond what we believe; it must become a dynamic part of all we do, resulting in good fruit and spiritual maturity. Salvation does not depend on good deeds, but it results in good deeds. A person who claims to be saved while remaining unchanged does not understand faith or what God has done for him.

Daily Bible Verse

"No good tree bears bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit. Each tree is recognized by its own fruit. People do not pick figs from thornbushes, or grapes from briers. The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For out of the overflow of his heart his mouth speaks."

I'd still be an atheist."

"I would love to believe that when I die I will live again, that some thinking, feeling, remembering part of me will continue.

But much as I want to believe that, and despite the ancient and worldwide cultural traditions that assert an afterlife, I know of nothing to suggest that it is more than wishful thinking.

The world is so exquisite with so much love and moral depth, that there is no reason to deceive ourselves with pretty stories for which there's little good evidence.

Far better it seems to me, in our vulnerability, is to look death in the eye and to be grateful every day for the brief but magnificent opportunity that life provides."

Eternal life....can you even begin to imagine a life without goals, without anything to achieve? Ever goal that you might have would eventually be fulfilled, every accomplishment realized, every joy realized over and over, until....well until what? When you have done ALL that you desired, then what will you do? Before you would stretch a never ending period of time, endless, no hope of it ever ending. I can't imagine a worse horror. Insanity would surely follow, it would have to. Maybe the religious will get exactly what they hope for, a never ending life with nothing to accomplish, all goals fulfilled, and on and on it goes...could this actually be the hell they talk about? Not fire and brimstone, but then ultimate stagnation of the mind, time without end, what horror!!!!! As Woody Allen once said..."Eternity is a really really long time, especially toward the end."

Psalm 23
King James Version (KJV)

23 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

No, I'm not sure I can imagine much worse than the eternal boredom of kissing Yahweh's butt forever...with NOTHING to look forward to but more @ss kissing...endlessly. Living the unending suck-up. Ugh. No thanks.

__________

— Colossians 1:21-23 —

Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of your evil behavior. But now he has reconciled you by Christ's physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation — if you continue in your faith, established and firm, and do not move from the hope held out in the gospel. This is the gospel that you heard and that has been proclaimed to every creature under heaven, and of which I, Paul, have become a servant.

__________

The way to be free from sin is to trust Jesus Christ to take it away. We must remain "established and firm" in the truth of the gospel, putting our confidence in Jesus alone to forgive our sins, to make us right with God, and to empower us to live the way he desires. When a judge in a court of law declares the defendant not guilty, the person has been acquitted of all the accusations or charges. Legally, it is as if he or she had never been accused. When God forgives our sins, our record is wiped clean. From his perspective, it is as though we had never sinned. God's solution is available to you. No matter what you have done or what you have been like, God's forgiveness is for you.

Yes, they seem to believe that they get mansions on streets of gold and get to hang out with previously deceased loved ones... just enjoying the "good life" as it were.
What the babble says they really get is to praise, glorify and otherwise kiss Yahweh's @ss 24/7.
I can't imagine anything more boring. An eternity of boredom.
Horrible.
As blacklagoon said, sounds more like that mythical Christian place called Hell.

Well, think back to Eden when God planned for Adam and Eve to pretty much be condemned to that same thing before Lucifer intervened. Seems as if God's heaven is an end-run around knowledge. I don't know why he didn't just tell the rabbis to do lobotomies instead of circumcisions. Problem solved...

"Religion has actually convinced people that there's an invisible man living in the sky who watches everything you do, every minute of every day.
And the invisible man has a special list of 10 things he does not want you to do.
And if you do any of these 10 things he has a
special place full of fire and smoke and burning and torture and anguish where he will send
you to live and suffer and burn and choke and scream and cry for ever and ever until the end of time...
...but he loves you."
