"Myth" in its true definition and proper usage does NOT mean fiction or a lie.
Well, that's not entirely true. Myth implies fiction.

Typically, myths are half-truths - meaning they're BASED on things that actually happened, but exaggerate or attribute the things they're written about to things that cannot be proved to be associated with them.

For me this pretty much sums up a lot of what I believe...
This life is a test, and God is watching the whole time, God even knows the thoughts in your head, and if you succeed in passing the test then you are rewarded by being allowed to go to Heaven, and if you fail the test then you burn in Hell for eternity.
But God is cool and loving and through Jesus we are forgiven for our sins if we repent, and if we ask for forgiveness.
And God does cool stuff, such as giving us miracles and stuff...
Here is a link again for a short video of me talking about miracles which God has given me in my life...

All of the best, and I wish us all a very happy New Year,
Tony V.
How about providing a clinically verified x-ray of your back and the three ruptured disks, and another clinically verified x-ray of your back now? All you video shows is an old burn-out babbling about miracles without a shred of evidence. By the way, catching your lost fishing lure is a simple coincidence, not a miracle.

It doesn't really matter, ruptured discs can heal naturally, anyways, though it can take quite some time if people don't rest and allow it to heal.

How can you hate that which does not exist? You seem to be projecting your emotions on other people.
theist = believer
atheist = without belief
If you're without belief, why are you quoting the Bible? I think it's great but it does not compute...

Happy New Year!!!!

Here, allow me to put it like this: I will not bring myself to say that something (whether it be God or Satan) that has zero evidence exists. Happy? You can say that God and Satan exist if you want, but I won't consider it justified belief until you give me a smidgen of evidence that either exist.
Until then, you can continue to be a hypocrite all you want, but it's just further evidence against the Bible that Christ's own followers are even more hateful than us "hAtheists," as you call us.
Can you provide proof they don't exist?

Happy New Year!!!!

No, I'm telling you what they believe because you did not know.
Pathetic, isn't it, that an atheist knows more about your religion and its origins than you do?
I'd call that interesting and a tad amusing actually.

I "found God" in 7th grade.
I "lost" him later in my life. I was a Christian for quite some time, but I slowly went from fundamentalist -> "average" -> skeptic -> agnostic theist -> agnostic atheist.
Don't give me that "You're still looking for him" crap - I've heard it enough from just about every other Christian who I've ever had a discussion about God with, and it's false.
OK...

You say it's false, yet you call yourself an agnostic atheist?!?

I'm an agnostic atheist because I don't know if a deity exists.

The Bible is demonstrably false, however (Creation, implication of a flat earth, etc), so I'd need quite a healthy amount of evidence that that particular God exists (from CREDIBLE sources - not Creationist propaganda) in order to believe it - evidence which there is not a smidgen of.

We quote the Bible to examine
a) it's ridiculousness and
b) the hypocrisy of those who say they've read it.
At least - that's what I do. Can't speak for the person you're quoting.

No - but that does not mean they exist. We need a higher standard of evidence to discern reality from fantasy, and that standard of evidence has not been met by people who claim any particular deity exists.

If the Bible is "demonstrably false", then by all means demonstrate....

LMAO!

Like you lying that you've read it "3+" times and you've never seen Satan referred to as the serpent?

You're such a liar, might wanna change socks now.
