"We do not have a partnership or work in
conjunction with any social media sites. They have their business of social
media and we have our business of investigating federal crimes." – Russ Brown, Supervisor, FBI Cyber Crimes Division

Facebook seems to be running for cover and leaving a path of disturbing questions along the way.

Contrary to FBI Special Agent Brown's quote above, Facebook's "Safety Team" Leader told Men Against Prostitution and Trafficking (MENAPAT), the group behind this Cause, that "we regularly partner with law enforcement to bring the perpetrators of these crimes to justice."

Should we believe, the FBI ... or Facebook?

The closer we look at Facebook's lack of understanding on this issue the worse it gets. On January 12, 2013, the very same Facebook staff member told MENAPAT that reporting illicit images and videos on Facebook "is the law." Fortunately, we have Special Agent Russ Brown, of the FBI Cyber Crimes Division. SA Brown reveals the truth, "They have the ability to report things if they want to, but there's no legal requirement for them to report something." It seems Facebook may have to look more closely at the qualifications and credentials of their "Safety Team."

If change is going to happen, it's up to us. Our opinion is that Facebook cannot be trusted with the safety of our children.

Do you want to help us change the world? Right now, you can take real action and make a difference. http://www.af.mil/news/story.asp...
