There's no bigot comparable to the blissfully ignorant self-righteous Christian bigot. A theist, such as you, has been brainwashed to mindlessly adhere to a dogma based indoctrination system.

An anti-theist is opposed to all dogma based indoctrination systems that produce retarded and revolting godbots like you. Anti-theism has absolutely nothing to do with a defective relationship with one's father and everything to do with having the common sense to oppose religious brainwashing.

Your paranoia seems to increase when the moon is full. Why is that?

People can follow the beliefs of atheism blindly and, instead of thinking for themselves, become brainwashed accepting the atheistic world view without ever questioning or open mindedly considering the alternatives. That might explain why about half of Americans brought up in non religious households turn to God/ religion as adults.Author John Updike wrote,
"Among the repulsions of atheism for me has been its drastic uninterestingness as an intellectual position. Where was the ingenuity, the ambiguity, the humanity (in the Harvard sense) of saying that the universe just happened to happen and that when we're dead we're dead? "

The majority of those who reject the existence of God do so purely on an emotional basis. A prayer unanswered as expected, or the death of a loved one, are usually the reasons that the average human being rejects God. It is bitterness at loss, and inability to cope with that loss. Afterwards, such a person looks for justification to maintain such a worldview, such as latching onto science, or philosophy, or naturalism. Over a period of time, the bitterness remains in control of the emotions while the atheist (or anti-theist) basically convinces him or herself that they are being logical, or spend time seeking validation of what they already presuppose.

A classic example of this happened in the life of the late Christopher Hitchens. His mother and her lover (a former Anglican priest) committed suicide together. This left a terrible emotional hole in the psyche of Mr. Hitchens that was never healed. Christopher Hitchens blamed this tragic loss on his mother's boyfriend. The basic reasoning of Hitchens was that his mother's "killer" was also dead, and Hitchens had no way to obtain justice through retribution. He could only find comfort in his anger at God, which finally pushed him to rejection altogether. His brother, Peter Hitchens is a former atheist and now is a Christian.

The son of Madelyn Murray O'Hair, William, a former atheist, has also converted to Christianity, and has written a book called "My Life Without God" which chronicles just how dysfunctional and psychologically damaged his mother really was.

You're certainly on a roll today demonstrating your own blissful ignorance and self-righteous bigotry then quoting a brainwashed godbot just as retarded and revolting as you.

A theist, such as you, has been brainwashed to mindlessly accept a dogma-based indoctrination system. An anti-theist is opposed to all inhumane dogma-based indoctrination systems. There's never been a need for the term atheist and anti-theism isn't a world view.

100% pure bullshit!

Once again, you demonstrate the blissful ignorance and self-righteous bigotry of the religiously retarded imbecilic sociopathic godbot. Your combination of ignorance, cowardice and intolerance is found in few places on earth outside the damn Bible Belt.

In fact, rational people study science based in reality on observation and experimentation. It's never been rational to believe the universe was created by design because there's never been a single scientific observation in support of such a juvenile hypothesis.

Rational people oppose dogma-based indoctrination systems because programming the most vulnerable members of society to be ignorant of science and intolerant of non-cultists is indefensible, barbaric and dangerous.

More psycho babble from the mental ward. You are just another arrogant, ostentatious, acrimonious, supercilious, pusillanimous, calumnious, censorious, vituperative, querulous, embittered, obsessive and bombastic atheistic bully and that is your demeanor on a good day. In exchange, your brainwashed brainwasher feeds your inane delusions of an imaginary father figure in the sky and an afterlife fantasyland for ignorant, cowardly and bigoted slaves to unconscionable Dark Ages dogma.

You're a death-denying coward, a national embarrassment, an outright disgrace to the human race and a complete waste of a sperm cell with absolutely nothing of value to contribute to society, punk.

Sorry, but you sure have never STUDIED the Bible. Christ is not a "last name". It is a title meaning anointed one of God.

He also didn't spell Nazareth correctly either. Then again that is par for the course when dealing with the JNE thesis.

A religiously retarded imbecilic sociopathic godbot's willful ignorance of science isn't proof for their imaginary friends. All of the scientific evidence fully supports entirely natural origins for the universe and life on earth without the need of any supernatural creature.

There are hypotheses regarding the origin of life or abiogenesis. Unfortunately, the presence of life itself makes the replication of the first living cell dependent on the sterile conditions of the laboratory.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abiogenesis

You're an especially ignorant godbot and would be well-advised to seek professional help for your mental illness instead of totally humiliating yourself on an international forum.

Well then this should tell you that these various hypotheses aren't viable, since the early conditions on planet earth would not even come close to modern sterile laboratory conditions. You just shot your own argument in the foot. I recommend that you stop making a fool of yourself in an international forum, kid.

Even if abiogenesis were true you don't know when it occured and therefore what condition the planet would have been in. Abiogenesis relies on specific environmental conditions to occur and and if you change even a few of those conditions you can take your entire model and throw it out the window. For those of us who are familiar with other planets even the most desolate and apparently lifeless of planets has it's own weather, how would that factor in.

There is too much guess work and not enough proof in abiogenesis, it falls outside of science and into the realm of faith. Darwinists attempt to explain the world based on a presupposition rather than keeping an open mind. What if it turns out life didn't evolve on Earth at all and was placed here as a wildlife refuge by an advanced alien race and what humans refer to as gods are these alien caretakers? Unlikely but still a possibility...however people still want to pound the square peg in the round hole.

I digress, this thread is about Jesus of Nazereth and the question has been raised of his historical existence. The resident JNE thesis proponent has little to offer however I would like to offer one more nail in the coffin of this matter. The Zeitgeist companion by Acharya S., in this book she attempts to defend many of the questions posed by the claims she made in the first part of the Zeitgeist movie when people called her on her lies. For instance Horus being born on 12/25, she says that since he is linked to the sun he is essentially born every day....what? So you can also say Horus was born on 12/14, 4/25, 6/12, etc. nevermind the fact that he is a sky god amd not the sun god (Ra), why would she keep this out of the movie and her previous books? They are lies and she got caught, that's why she only mentions it now.
