Not really sure this would fall in that category or not. I grew up on a farm about four miles from town,we had a coal mine right behind our house, which our nieghbors and our family as well sold out to. When i was a child i used to dream walking into a house, seeing a old woman in a chair nitting or sewing, not sure which, then looking at a wall with reddish paper with gold swirls in it,then i would wake up. This was back in the 1970s,the dream was always the same, over and over. When i was a little older after we had moved into town a few years later,a few friends and i were out riding bikes when we went to explore this old house that was a mile at the most from where i grew up,it was off the beaten path and had been emty for years before i was born. we went in,and i stopped in my tracks, this house had reddish decaying paper with the gold swirls i had dreamed about as a child. The strangest feeling came over me. when i got home i asked my mother about it and she said when she moved to our house as a teenager in 1957 that house was emty then. This has always puzzled me. Any ideas?

If you take the position that there is no such thing as supernatural, then the answer would be that you had a Deja Vu episode when you entered the house as a teen and only imagined the dreams as a child. When I was 5, I was in church and thought I saw Jesus walking across the altar. I now think I imagined the whole thing because that is more likely.

If you believe in the supernatural, then the answer could cost you money and time, so best not to believe.

I always thought it was strange to dream about a place, but had never been there. for the most part i really do not believe in anything like that.

Think they call that precognition. I am pretty sure it is just a trick of the brain like Dejavu, but who knows for sure.

There is a rational explaination for everything. Thought you didn't believe in God, but you believe in crap?

Since when does the supernatural have to be irrational? At one time, we would have considered radio waves to be supernatural. Yet they were all around us, and they obey the laws of physics just fine.

I'm sure science will be able to explain the things I've seen and experienced someday. Metaphysics seems to have a pretty handle on it, and their explanations don't conflict with science, so I don't see a problem.

To clarify, I only believe in things I've seen personally, or can personally verify. Thus, I have no real belief in god, but I can't deny some supernatural stuff exists. I have no other way to explain those things.

I've been experiencing out of body projections since a near death experience when I was 2. Hundreds and hundreds of them. I can induce them now when I work at it. Takes me about 45 minutes.

Are you talking about sleep paralysis?

Yes and no. Sleep paralysis is just a safety mechanism to keep your body from acting out what you're dreaming. While it's possible to wake up and still be paralyzed, that's a malfunction of the process.

Unless you're talking about mind-awake-body-asleep. Then yes, sort of. That's a precursor to the process.

If you meant the near-death experience, then no. I was dead for over 2 minutes in the hospital and resuscitated. I remember watching the whole thing.

I used to do that Quite a bit when i was younger, but once i hit my early 30s it pretty much doesn't happen. I can still remember it clearly, waking up,wide awake and hearing like water running or something to that effect.

Lets just say for wip to make a statement like this with her reputation for spin. There is just to much comedy material in this post from her to even go there. All one can do is sit back and laugh.

It's really easy to create the projected double in that state. You should see if you can get back to it.

If I may, it might help if you imagine you are laying down on a cloud, and just drift....works for me.
