You are going to have a hard time engaging this guy in a debate. Xcntrik is slippery as an eel, a master of evasive action. At least he knows the first rule of debating: Never enter a debate you cannot win. So, I doubt if he would ever debate with me. You may have better luck, fella. Just don't expect him to debate fairly. He doesn't ...

You rang, my confused, christian friend?

Let's start with something valuable.

Do you believe the bible?

Remember, no lying.

No, I do not believe the bible.

So you believe that the world is flat, inside a bubble, that the bubble is surrounded by water with windows in the bubble where the sun, moon and stars enter every day?

You do know that can easily be proven untrue, right?

Why would you believe something that you really know not to be true?

So you don't actually believe the bible, but you say that you do believe the bible.

You're obviously very confused.

Actually, he didn't put any words in your mouth. He asked you a question which is evident by the question mark at the end of the sentence.

And as it stands, you agree with X that the world isn't flat and that it's at least millions of years old.

I'm sorry, but as a spectator, I was expecting more drama. Or is this a new debate strategy?

Does the bible actually use the word "bubble"?

Now you, a mere spectator, are laying words in Xcntrik's mouth. Can you show where he SAID " that the world isn't flat and that it's at least millions of years old"?

oh bless you! are you sure this is fair to them? poor things! they have no chance on the merits of their argument. Please just aim at them and demolish them, instead of generalizing about all Christians. I think you could take on the nutcases one by one and two by two, four by four, or 8 by 8, from the worst to the least worst, and demolish them all til you get to the point that maybe you are satisfied, and can leave alone some of my nicest friends who think they are Christians, but don't believe much of the mean parts or the stupid parts. I'd say that would be about 6 pages total of the Bible left standing, but they might find more.
